TERRIBLE NEWS For Ricciardo After Red Bull’s SHOCKING STATEMENT!

Published 2024-06-26
■ Liam Lawson has been connected to a very interesting and rather expecting move to Racing Bulls, as Helmut Marko opened up about the future of the sister team of Red Bull. It seems like the Italian squad forgot about its roots, which are primarily grooming young talent, and now that the shareholders have had their say on where the team would move, Lawson could very well fit in that picture! But with Ricciardo facing a tough destiny right now, could this be the last season for the honey badger in the sport, and more importantly – can he get replaced as fast as in the middle of the season?

Haas would be a good move for Ricciardo if Red Bull decide to not keep him, he would pair nicely with Bearman and I think he could keep the Haas car moving forward while also bringing added commercial and marketing value to them
  • Lawson will be a championship contender for sure. He must get the seat.
  • @Fiasco3
Only problem being the RB sponsors want Ricciardo right were he is.

    Lawson/Tsunoda.....make it happen!
  • Danny is a nice guy and all, but if he wanted the Red Bull seat....he shouldn't have left it.
  • He quit the red bull family for his own ambitions....no need to give him any loyalty
  • You never know Max might go to Mercedes, so might Adrian Newey, so Danny Rick could still go there!

Ricciardo has had his chance, it's about time he just moves on.

I want Lawson in a team, but I don't understand why people consider DR so washed. He's in a midfield car, placing in the midfield. When he did testing in the RB his pace was extremely competitive. I don't know why everyone just expects a midfield car to magically become a winning car based on a driver. By the internet's standards, anyone who isn't in the top 10 is washed and should quit the sport. Has Yuki outperformed him so far this season? Partially. Has Yuki also had less time in the middle of a DRS train though? Also yes. Has Daniel outperformed Yuki at times? Also, yes. Are qualifying times insanely close across the board in 2024? Absolutely. The change that needs made is Checo gone from the FRONT OF ROW team where he has a car that can perform and yet doesnt. Then fill the spots with DR, Yuki, and Lawson. Until DR is actively underperforming when leading packs or in qualifying, he's more valuable in a team than leaving the sport.
  • Marko's comment that the shareholders want the team to go back to developing young drivers sounds a bit contrived and simplistic as surely shareholders would also want drivers that can attract big name sponsorship to better fund the team and raise its profile.
  • Daniel has not done well, yet he does not deserve to be fired by the media. As to Marko not a person I would trust.

Tsnoda is Hondas boy, maybe he'll end up at Aston Martin... when Lance is moved on
  • F1 should be the pinnacle of motor racing, but, because the money some drivers bring to the sport, tallented drivers with less $ miss out F1 need to sort this out so the best drivers are on the grid ,not being shoved around as is happening at the moment.
  • Why does the community insist on calling him “the kiwi”? Lmao Just call him by his f**king name, the kid deserves that respect, he’s a great driver

If I were Lawson I would not sign a long term contract with RB, if it were offered. In fact I’d jump ship as it’s slowly sinking, the crew are drilling holes in it from the inside…..you just can’t see them at work.
  • @aidan_king
Helmut Marko had no say what's going on anymore
  • Tsunoda should had his seat at redbull for 2025 Perez out. And for Racing bull, Lawson and Hadjar
  • @zbeen-ah-lah
idc im still calling it torro rosso (but get Liam in that seat)
  • @okidoki878
That’s great news Ricciardo have to move he is a movie star in the USA because DTS but this is a sport
  • @xander0901
Helmut Marko can say whatever he wants, but the fact remains that he is not the driving figure in this organization. His attempts to oust Horner have cost him dearly. The decision will ultimately come down to Horner’s preferences.
