UPDATED rank distribution graph released | Overwatch 2

It doesn't matter what "rank" you are. When I'm a Diamond 3 player and constantly getting matched anywhere from Plat5 to GM3, who cares?

I wish they would have included at the very least the percentages relative to the chart. While we can get an idea visually, it would be nice to have a bit more clarity on the distribution

i feel a big problem is the toxicity one time in my gold 2 lobby i did my best made at the very least decent plays for the team i played well enough and saved our supports from getting dived on multiple occasions yet still i was flamed and told to uninstall by most of my team i admit i wasn't at my best but the fact that stuff like this happens in quick play too when you are just playing overwatch for the fun of it is mildy upsetting, not only did it make me want to stay away from ranked but stay away from the only fps im good at.

the graph is kinda of meaningless if we don't have anything on the Y axis to give us context

Assuming its a bell curve graph then the math is not too hard to figure out Bronze is 10% Silver is 19% Gold is 27% Plat is 26% Diamond is 12% Masters is 4% and GM is <1% Give or take a percent.

If master players decay to plat, average plat and diamond players will suffer and this is what happened in early season 9

Finally they are removing all these inflated scrubs from GM! 🥳

This is because new players came to overwatch two which increased the bronze player count, and when their game crumbled after every fuck up, all the bad players left and we were left with the decent ones and the pros

I think the Bronze players quit the game already.
