I mean I know that every African country possesses an enormous potential, but trust me this is over the roof. Kudos to Benin from 🇬🇭🇬🇭🇬🇭
  • Everything you said about Benin is absolutely true. It's truly a place of peace. There's constant light, my goshhhh. The road so clean and free, no traffic 😂😂. I love the country. The beach, clean and so serene. The most amazing thing is you can go out by 2am freely, without having to worry about arm robbers
  • When you are from BENIN REPUBLIC 🇧🇯 like i am You feel so glad and amazed to see people show our beautiful country. When i get abroad i usually present BENIN REPUBLIC through NIGERIA 😅 by saying do you know Nigeria? When the Guy say yes i say, voilà we are there best neighborhood ,the small country in the west of Nigeria. 😅😂😅😂 Ah the way i'm happy to see this video and i look foward in next years coming we do better than that and get ahead and being knowing from the world 🤩🤩 Nice vide tayo keep on going you get a new follower ❤️💯

I am a Kenyan living in Benin 🇧🇯 . You hit all the points about Benin! I am now subscribed! Great job 👏🏽
  • Benin is beautiful! I am so glad that you guys are taking the time to travel around Africa to show the world a part of the continent that is hidden by the western media. While watching this video, I couldn't stop thinking about the millions of people in America and the Caribbean who were taken away from Benin. It's hard to imagine that some of my ancestors once lived on that land. During Oyo Empire many Yorubas migrated to Benin. Haiti also has a very strong link with Benin.
  • Bénin is like a second home to me and I really can’t wait to go visiting again. I lived there for a good amount of years and it feels like I left a piece of my soul there that keeps calling me to come back. Watching this video made me very nostalgic really. Le Bénin aura toujours une place spéciale dans mon cœur❤❤❤

Benin Republic is a small country on another level, a 3 hours drive from Lagos.. It is the definition of peace and tranquility. I love the old architectural designs, though the city doesn't really speak luxury but you can see that they pay attention to details. The country is clean and driving in this country is too sane that I was almost getting uncomfortable LOL. I have visited the country 3 times this year. Once I can't hold the Naija stress, I just take the 3 hours drive to cool my mind. I did some reviews of lovely places to visit there. You can check it out. . LOL But all in all. Well done Tayo you are doing a nice job. I can confidently say nobody does it better

I love the idea of you doing the narration instead of a voice-over. Because of all you have shared, I will definitely visit the Benin Republic. Thanks a million, bro.
  • I'm a Ghanaian that was born in Benin and schooled there at the famous Ekinous Bilingual Schools (which I'd like you to visit when next you go there...) and I was always travelling to Nigeria and I even stayed in Aja Illaje(Ikota) for some months. I stayed in Togo for some months too and now I'm back to my country Ghana ❤... My point is: we are distinguished by our various nationalities, languages, but the culture and our way of life is very similar... I wish you could visit the main capital of Benin which is Porto-Novo... You'll know that you're in a different country because of the serenity and fast movement of the traffic, but you'll still think you're in Nigeria because you'll meet one Yoruba person every 10 metres you walk... Nice video though ⚡... Too bad I saw it today 😢

I lived in Benin for 3 good years and the good news is I met my husband in Cotonou as well. Benennoise are very hospitable and peaceful. There are loads of affordable hotels if you know your way around a place called John K. As you earlier said about the boarder, Nigerians part of the boarder is an eye sore. You will even see out uniform men physically fighting each other and drunk at the boarder. It’s a shame that nothing has changed since the 80s that I was there.
  • I am simple. I see Tayo, I click. Ads come up, I watch. (even though YouTube is trying it with them double ads). Keep up the great work bro, personally proud of you.

I was in Benin Republic in Cotonou in the early 90s from Lagos on a working visits and again in 2002-03 from UK where I have been sojourned for nearly three decades. I am thinking of retiring now and Lagos has recently been unattractive due to the current socio-economic & political intrigues. I have been thinking of Cotonou, a quiet, clean and peaceful location very close to Lagos outside Nigeria to invest in a very decent property in a top notch area and have my peace of mind. Fly into Lagos once in a while to attend events and family. I then saw this video that confirms my thought process. Thank you Tayo.

My late mom is from Benin(Dahomey), from the Ametornu family. She got married to my dad (a Ghanaian). She died about 10 years ago and the last time I went there(Benin) with my mom and dad is in the 90s. Someone should help me locate and get in touch with my mom's family in Benin. Her surname is AMETORNU.
  • I'm a Ghanaian in Benin currently because of school. Everything he is saying is SO TRUE. It's an expensive a little and a beautiful clean country 😌😌😌
  • I lived in Bénin republic for 12 years, i basically spent all my teenage years there. It's a beautiful place, very quiet even Nigeria has a very big influence on them
  • Our continent AFRICA is beautiful. Nuestro continente ÁFRICA es hermoso. From Equatorial Guinea 🇬🇶🇬🇶🇬🇶🇬🇶🇬🇶

Back in the 1970s we would drive from Ikoyi ( Lagos ) to Cotonou. It took over 3 hours after dealing with Awolwo Road , Broad Street Go Slow. Cotonou was a quaint little town then. Watching this video, it is very heartening and encouraging to see Cotonou grow into a City, but , seemingly, in a planned systematic way. Thank you for your Travel videos Oga .
  • Today is my Benin independence and watching this I'm just "awwww" . My hometown is beautiful... Happy Independence 🇧🇴
