It’s such a shame how myers has been forgotten and abandoned. He did so much for the game and horror as a genre, he deserves better.

I always enjoy seeing newer players reacting to old DbD. The innocent "no way the game was ever like that" energy is priceless.

Object of Obsession was the case of "just looking at data." Because the perk was getting tunneled out of games, data showed survivors using it had an extremely low survival rate, so they didn't think it was needing changed, not taking into account it was getting tunneled out because of how problematic it was

Forgot to mention the killer that caused "Play With Your Food" cooldown nerf: Wraith. Back when it didn't have a cooldown, Wraith could run PWYF, find the obsession in the beginning of the game, uncloak to start chase with obsession, cloak to end chase immediately to gain a stack, uncloak immediately to start chase again and rinse and repeat. He could gain 3 stacks of PWYF within a few seconds since it didn't have a cooldown

One thing I will never forget is old Myers house combined with old Balanced Landing, when the side effect of the perk meant that there was never any stagger when the survivor fell from a height, exhausted or not. It turned Myers house into a legitimate infinite unless the killer brought Bamboozle. And then there was that fucking window next to basement. That fucking god window that eventually, in the final year or so of old Haddonfield, BHVR just switched off completely because of how broken it was.
