"I haven't played in a minute" proceeds to play like he's been doing it for 6 centuries.

To date this is still the most impressive audition on American idol history, most notable auditions have some super emotional background that gets you in the feels first, this guy just walks on no background, not really much to say, hardly any emotion, but he doesn’t need any of it, just raw talent, there’s never been any other that had this amount of pure talent.

My favourite ever idol audition. Unreal. Magic. I love how Luke is so honest with his remarks, and from the moment Alejandro started his jaw just hits the ground.

He's legitimately a virtuoso, and he's just like "yeah, cool, whatever" about it. What an interesting cat.
