Seeing the Chinese representative starting to interrupt the Filipino representative while he was talking just shows he is in the loosing side of the argument. You can see both the Philippines and US representatives were calm waiting for their turn talking facts while the Chinese end up trying to make meaning to what he is saying so that people would believe him. That goes to show just how much internationally accepted facts/norms holds importance over self proclaimed opinions.
  • Prof. Batungbacal.. I congratulate you for your strong and articulate replies to all the questions. It seems China has an alternate version of reality be it past or present. War is dirty and no one wins. GOD bless the Philippines.
  • The host seem to have a bias, making arguments in favor of China (e.g. falklands argument) and against the US and The Philippines. The response time given for the Filipino representative was also cut short and then she claimed that they're run out of time after asking the Chinese representative to answer AGAIN. Thr Chinese representative is also very condescending. He's also not responsive to the question. He also claims stuff such as the agreement to remove sierra madre but the host doesn't even question such claim while she keeps on questioning the claim of The Philippines like how she asked Batongbacal why didn''t The Philippines responded during the dawn of the nine-dash line claim. Also putting words on Batongbacal's mouth by saying that by "international community" Batongbacal only really meant the US. This is such an unprofessional behaviour for a host. I watched this without looking the vid, to my surprise, it was TRT world, an anti-american and leftist orhanization. 😂. Absolutely unprofessional.

Okey the Philippines is suspected to be shipping construction materials into its claimed areas. For the Chinese that is a mortal sin. But China doesn't see anything wrong when it builds military facilities in the disputed waters.
  • @uyenlopez539
The way the chinese speaks seems they were showing that the philippines was militarizing by building an "outpost". But it was them who put military bases on the artificial islands that they built.

That Chinese is a liar. Claims there's a promise by the Philippines to remove the BRP Sierra Madre and yet they cannot produce the document. I bet he is going to say it was expressed verbally.
  • @Sargo197
Respect each other. Respect international law.
  • "How dare the Philippines tries to fix the sierra madre while we make tons and tons of artificial islands with weapons and airstrips and such. How dare they" "But the Philippines agreed to remove the ship!" provided 0 ZERO evidence of such.

After hearing all of these. The world can see who's wrong and right. I can easily choose a side here. Exclusive economic zones(EEZ) of any country, Philippines, Vietnam, Malaysia or even the EEZ of China should be respected in this case. The Philippines is definitely right, and China is wrong. We can certainly see that the Chinese government is just imposing itself to be respected by bullying its neighbors. China has boundary conflict with India, Mongolia, Japan, now the Philippines, Vietnam, Malaysia, Brunei and even Russia. Even intent to take over a very peaceful Taiwan by force. With these, I can easily conclude that China is very good in commerce but pretty bad as a neighbor.
  • Interrupting others while talking is unrespectful. No wonder how china behave in West Philippine Sea
  • @EricBeau
Look at the reaction of that Chinese analyst. All of a sudden emotionally reacting when the other analyst in the conversation said that the rusty navy ship which was marooned on the shoal was more of a reaction when China did not honor the status quo too by putting up an artificial military island that expanded to a military base later on Fiery Cross (one of the islands within the EEZ of the Philippines that China grabbed building a military outpost . So this Chinese analyst got a dose of his own medicine. Look at his hysterical. Speaking while the other person was still speaking 😅
  • @boredname2919
Military outposts? Who started building islands in those disputed waters? The CHINESE
  • @mjgatz70
What the Philippines are fighting for is not only for the Philippines territory but for international interest for sea navigation safety .
  • @x-creator4460
High Respect to TRT for allowing honest and objective open discussion from both sides without bias.

"The Chinese have allowed our Navy to deliver supplies necessary for the soldiers’ sustenance. The Arroyo and Duterte administrations and most of even Aquino 3rd’s regime had not violated Estrada’s deal with the Chinese, so there had been no incidents at Ayungin during their watch. President Marcos Jr. or his generals, however, have ignored Estrada’s pact with China and have tried to send repair materials to the BRP Sierra Madre, which, however, have been intercepted by the Chinese, which have portrayed them as villains."
