This video documents the behind-the-scenes of the EVGA GPU division. The company has exited manufacturing video cards, but for now, the crew remains at EVGA working on final projects and supporting customers. We were given the unique and privileged opportunity to tour EVGA's repair center, film processes previously secret, and show the teamwork that went into building EVGA. We were originally just going to do a tour of the repair center, but it wasn't until we had a reason -- the tragic loss of EVGA's last cards capable of world records -- that we realized the story underneath. This morphed from being a simple tour to being a deeper piece outlining the relationships of the people at EVGA, the teamwork that went in at every individual's level to make a good product, and the contributions made across all departments of the company. We learned first-hand how relatively few people made EVGA tick, and all because each is an expert in their field. We felt a great sense of responsibility to document how the team worked together, if only for their own future nostalgia, and we're happy you're along for the ride. We gave as many people the spotlight as we could for this one, from the OC team to the repair team. We spent 5-figures and a month working on this video, so please share and support if you can!

LATER TODAY we're posting a Patreon exclusive interview clip from this tour (will go public at a later date): www.patreon.com/gamersnexus

  • What a beautiful tribute and sendoff for EVGA. I feel that they escaped this latest round of NVIDIA BS at just the right time. Excellent journalism and documentary work as always, GN!
  • Never in my life would I have imagined they had a repair center like that. That's incredible.
  • @Ashrots
EVGA - You truly were a one of a kind in the GPU industry. From my first EVGA GPU to the last. The support and dedication you put into the industry was inspirational. Thank you GN for bringing this emotional event to the masses. You guys did great.
  • What an inspiring and bittersweet look behind the scenes at a passionate team showing what dedication to their craft is all about. Cheers to your team for putting this together.
  • This is probably one of the best pieces of content GN has ever created. I've never been so invested in following through a story like this. It was very well written and put together. I do hope that EVGA goes on to make amazing products and refining their current lineup now.
  • I am absolutely blown away by how well you and your team have covered EVGA leaving the GPU industry. Kudos to everyone on your end and shout out to the talented folk at EVGA, especially their GPU and repair divisions!
  • @the_Wingading
This video is amazing and depressing at the same time lol. The industry really lost something special with EVGA leaving. These guys are the best of the best!

I teared up watching this, the end of an era. My first GPU that got me into the PC building hobby was an EVGA GTS 250, my current GPU EVGA 3070 Ti FTW3. I stayed a loyal customer throughout those years, that's how great of a GPU brand they were.
  • @theobserverr
This was an absolutely incredible bittersweet sendoff. Big ups to EVGA for even allowing the GN team the opportunity to document these trade secrets and to the GN team for their trademark professionalism and honest journalism. I put my trust in EVGA as a die-hard lifelong GPU customer of theirs, and after all these documentaries, I'm happy to see concrete and irrefutable proof that my faith wasn't misplaced. This series of videos had some serious love poured into them. It's really hard to put into words. We're losing one of the good ones, the few that are left. Again, thanks GN team for all the work yall put in. I'm glad you were able to bring this part of history to us. :)
  • @Noah-lj2sg
Insane you did this without an external sponsor. Love it, thanks to the whole team.
  • @cjbtlr
"Thanks Steve." There's nothing like this on YouTube. Incredible work.
  • @Stanger97
This is an absolute treat! Thank you GN, for the GREAT video and reporting, best I have seen in i don't know how long. And such a big thanks to EVGA not only for the access but for just not settling and striving for amazing. Such an amazing group of people, was amazing to watch them all work. Just WOW.
  • As a Taiwanese, I still remember when my 970 had some weird unexplained power-related issues, and EVGA had me send over the entire PC and even had the engineers explain to me what were the possible causes *over phone*. It was extremely impressive. I'm just really sad now that my 3080 will be the last card I have from them.
  • @Thomas.5020
Such a shame to see a passionate, talented team who really care about what they're doing being disbanded... You can really feel the emotion and the tension in this, one last hurrah for EVGA and the team.
  • @BinkoBunko
GN reminding us once again what actual journalism and investigative reporting looks like while mainstream media continues to consistently flop. You guys are the best. Thank you for your deep dives into an industry that doesn't get a lot of behind the scenes viewing and a dedication to truth above all else, good or bad.
  • @HORoundhouse
My first ever self-selected card was an EVGA. I'm sitting next to my EVGA 3090Ti FT3 Hybrid now and knowing that I'll be running that until it dies, and then mounting it on my wall in a position of honor. I'll miss you EVGA, but I'll never forget you.
  • @JZF629
The only thing better than you guys making a video like this is the fact that you present it to us on a free platform with such quality and effort. This is why I continue to be a customer to your store because I want to contribute back to you in some way to show you my appreciation and support. We are blessed to have you and your team in this community. Thank you!
  • @barryfilion
This was inspiring and soul crushing at all the same time. What a team, what a company and what an example of how NVidia failed its core customer group by basically pushing a great partner out of the space
  • You guys are absolutely crushing the storytelling meets journalism. What a fantastic piece. Entertaining, emotionally moving, and educational. Love the work GN is doing. Thanks guys.
