  • There is like a symbolism in the story. The altar shmbolizes their relationship. When Julia ran away, it means that she was the first person who left the relationship. (Reason stated during their convo) At the middle part, the video shows Josh waiting at the altar. It means he did wait Julia to comeback. Hoping that she still love him and that it may fix their relationship. When Julia cameback to the altar, It shows that she finally realized what she did was wrong. She was asking Josh for forgiveness and that she hopes that their relationship will be fix again. At the end of the clip where josh left Julia at the altar, It means that Josh somehow got tired of waiting and is ready to move on. Julia stays at the altar and she is now the one left in the relationship. Waiting for Josh to comeback. This is only my thought of the MusicVideo.

When josh says “ I'm sorry, I never get to protect you." It was that time when their broke up issue happen and everyone's bashing and blaming julia about it. Josh remained quiet and didn't even say something to protect her tho he said wanted to be there. It's just so brave for them to do this MV.
  • According to the actor who played as the Priest, when they are going to shoot the last scene which is the girl apologizing the director ask almost all of the crew to go outside the venue leaving only the Director, the two actors and camera men, the director instructed the two just say whatever they want to each other genuinely since they didn't have any proper closure in real life when they broke up. There's no script to be memorized there and all of the lines was adlibs. I think the reason why this hits hard is because we can feel the pain of these two, they are not acting, they are broadcasting their own life using the music video.
  • Thank you all who requested this reaction and waited so patiently for us. What video would you like us to react to? Today's encouragement is the power of forgiveness: Colossians 3:13 Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.

The best reaction i have seen. You understand the song. the story. the people involved! You guysss!!! 👍
  • The pain in Joshua's voice, the guilt in Julia's eyes and all the emotions in Moira's song. Just waiting for the release of the next song entitled "Pag- amin" featuring Julia and Gerald.

Right now, this is the best reaction video I've ever seen in all reaction video I watched here in PAUBAYA MUSIC VIDEO BY MOIRA DELA TORRE . Thumbs up!
  • When the music stops, there's no script in there only pure and genuine confessions for the both of them. The staff went out only the camera man and the singer left inside. They gave tgat time for them for closure ... Real feelings no script. That's raw !
  • @briederilo4442
Josh said he didn't got the chance to protect her because during that time that they broke up, almost everybody is bashing Julia because of the third party.

In the middle of the video the Girl said “I’m sorry Napagod ako” which translate to “I’m sorry I got tired” but in reality, We will never get tired if we genuinely love the person because that’s what we chose to do and people we love are often the people that will give us strength and we will choose to stay beside them no matter what the hardships that might come our way. The only reason that some people got tired of loving is either 1. They doesn’t really love us in the first place or 2. They found this different person that they truly love and is giving them that strength.
  • Why do I keep on watching the reaction videos of “Paubaya”? This is my 8th and it still makes me cry.
  • @MidnytBliss2011
I think there's no need to blame Julia or Josh. they made they closure to their relationship. They asked forgiveness and forgiven each other. They thank each other. For whatever reason it was, if there's a third party or not let them keep it to themselves. let us respect them. no need to bash both parties. Thank you. I still love JoshLia ❤️
  • I watched the video after the "other guy" admitted, after a year of speculations, that him and Julia (the girl in this video) are indeed in a relationship. Wow! Just wow! 💔😭

Joshua Garcia acting, style, voice, crying, look like john loyd cruz.
  • When this song was released it became a total hit amongst us because of how painful the song was about but having Joshua and Julia (Joshlia) in the music video squeezed our hearts tighter because Joshua and Julia are one of the most popular loveteams in the Philippines and we have witnessed (through their social media updates, TV guestings and  interviews up to mall shows) how their relationship blossomed from being mere strangers to lovers. Julia  was paired to a lot of actors before (because the TV station was trying to find the best match for her so that they can boost her career) but it was not until she was paired to Joshua  that people started appreciating her more. They had numerous movies and shows together. We witnessed how he asked her to be his date. We watched how Joshua became very close to her family. We saw them growing together and people just appreciate how raw and genuine their relationship was. Joshua is a simple guy. He  came from a poor family. He joined a reality TV show hoping it would give him an opportunity to help his family while Julia came from a family of celebrities so basically she grew up in a well off family and with a comfortable life. I think their background is one of the reason why peope appreciate their relationship because we did not expect Julia to fall in love with Joshua. But she did and their relationship was so beautiful and they shared with us almost every bit of it. The last time we remember they were very in love with each other posting sweet anniversary and birthday video greetings of one another (giving us a glimpse of a few private moments they have together) fans just swoon whenever they do. Those were the clips that you saw in the video. So one day we woke up with both of them trapped in a big controversy. Julia was accused of having an affair with another actor (which she had work with for a single project) who ghosted or left his girlfriend (which is also a famous celebrity in the Philippines) at the height of their movie together. Then they fall apart. . We don't know what really happened. They did not give us thourough explanation (which they are not responsible of) but people keeps on making guesses and their own suggestion. We loved Joshlia because of how pure and raw they were with each other and in this video you can still see how pure and raw they were writing their own lines and telling each other what they truly feel and it's sad but nice at the same time. Filipinos call it the closure they never had.

The best part here? Initially, if you listen to the last part, the "kanya" usually refers to 'someone'. You can either look at it as if he's giving the other guy the chance to make her happy. But upon seeing the lyrics with the capital K for "kanya". It usually refers to God. Instead, you can look at it and say he's leaving it up to God to make her happy. Such good word play. Thanks for your reaction!
  • It's 12:30am and I am here watching reaction vids of Paubaya, this is the 5th video and the last because I got no tears left to cry anymore 🥲
