You didn't mention it, but another reason comeback is good on wiper deco is still because of beakons. It's true that you wont be spamming beakons like you do torpedo, so LDE is basically useless, but what do you usually do right after you respawn, when Comeback is active? You superjump back in, often to a beakon. And because using your own beakon instantly breaks it, you have to replace it right after. This means that comeback almost always has a meaningful effect on your beakons, since it's active when you will most often place beakons, so it helps you get back into action sooner.

Thanks chase I can never find a good build for the deco

Wiper is definitely more of a QR weapon, but I have had a lot of fun experimenting with Wiper Deco builds since it came out. I still haven't settled on a specific set because it's just so fun to test stuff out! And the two builds you showed help provide some nice extra input!

I've been watching since a little while before your tetras guide in s2, and your production quality has only gotten better! Also, I think comeback synergizes well with wiper deco for the additional reason that the sub saver it gives you lets you reset beakons at a cheaper cost and spend less downtime recovering ink before getting back to farming missiles or fighting.

i was watching this while making a grilled cheese sandwich

As someone who pockets wiper now and then, this is a great guide!! Comeback is really helpful for me, as it makes my attempts being respawned having a higher chance of success.

The exact builds I definitely need with Vanilla Wiper. I definitely agree with having Ninja Squid on you with a side of Swim Speed to better sneak attack your opponents timing it perfectly. I will gladly be studying this every day. Thanks for the video information, Chase. 💜✨

Thanks Chase just watched the video and im deciding on using the come back vwiper vuild
  • @pastrylol

i've been using the vanilla wiper recently in rainmaker and tower control. i ran a similar build like this, but i use object shredder for rainmaker games. i've even got 24 splats in a match using it lol, and your guide in the previous video really helped me understand how to best use the splatana wipers

I've been starting to use the Wiper a lot lately, and your guide videos have been very helpful, thanks for making them!!

Another main ability you can use(you don’t have to but I personally like it) is special saver. A main of SP saver reduces the amount of special you lose from 50%, to 29%. It works well with QR. you don’t have to use it, but it’s just something to consider.

I like my own splatana wiper bulid but i don't have a splatana wiper deco bulid yet Thanks for the good bulid Chase
  • @jaewho
Someone else mentioned this (blanking on the name atm), but they run about a main of special charge and a main of special saver (and comeback I think) because it helps with getting missiles right after dying. In any case, gear building for deco is a lot of fun haha!

"Its not gonna use your whoooole build" Me: ok fair "Use 3 mains Me:😕
  • @GoldStorm07
If you play in a comp that has another solid player on an aggro weapon, it can be worth considering running Comeback + Haunt + Stealth Jump, dropping 1 utility sub (keep Quick Super Jump) and having 7 subs of QR. The difference in respawn time compared to 1 main and 6 subs is about half a second.
