  • "I wish it'd been a jet." Pilots NEVER change. Their number one love is to fly. And in the case of fighter pilots, fly fast. Very cool story though, get the old man in the air and have fun doing it.

Not too many of these WW2 guys left. They are the greatest generation.

  • Is it just me, or do older people just have a better sense of humor than people now-a-days....???

Gonna be some GOOD memories for this young man!🤗😊😍 most people don't get a chance to be w thier grandparents like this, it's truly a blessing👼🙏❤
  • Thats a wonderful memory that will last a life time. Heart warming story,
  • My grandpa was killed on D day. My father was 20 something days old when his dad got killed. This bothers my father until this very day. Someday I would like to visit my grandpa’s grave in Normandy France no one has ever gotten to go from the family. I think this is very sad. Young man you are very fortunate to have known your grandfather I love your story how you followed him in his footsteps. That is so awesome! The best generation this world has known. Next time take him and A jet lol

Sadly, I am always catching up to current times! Nick, I am so sorry you lost your grandfather. In the few short minutes of this video it was very easy to see how much he loved you and how proud he was of you. I hope your career is going well in the AF!!

Good ol' Laughlin AFB. At one time my father was a flight instructor there.
