  • I think wwe admitting they cant show footage of new jack is a better tribute than them actually showing footage
  • “ We can’t show his footage, because he was a gangsta” tears in my eyes rn
  • @jakedodd1301
People don’t understand that Heyman is playing a character, but he always has ECW in his heart. New Jack was the most gruesome entertainers of all time. An absolute legend of the game

Despite everything that Paul is doing as a advocate/manager nowadays, you can tell that he still truly feels for those he had in ECW and everytime he loses one, it always hits him very hard....RIP New Jack, the most hardcore Gangsta in pro wrestling
  • @frankycaliberz
I’m actually stunned WWE literally acknowledged his name not only on YouTube....but on An actual WWE broadcast...

It was my birthday and before a ECW show I went to, New Jack comes out. I'm there early trying to get pics of wrestlers going in. I got Rino, Heyman and others too BTW lol. Anyways New Jack comes out and asked if any of us was over 21 because he wanted them to drive him to the nearest strip club to round up the 'boys' for the show start. So I shoot my hand up and he picks me. We walk to his car in the parking lot, a Mazda Miata, and as I open the drivers door to get in, he changes his mind. I figure he doesn't need my help anymore and start to walk away. He stops me and tells me to hop in the passengers side. He then proceeds to show me his new music he is gonna be using soon. It was made my Bootsy Collins of P Funk! So we are jamming his tunes and roll up to the club and go in together. I reveal how amazing this is because today is my birthday. He asks me to prove it, so I pull out my license and he puts his arm around me and says to the bartender that today is my birthday and proceeds to buy me a drink! We look for anyone there to go back for the show and head back to the venue. I ask if he minds if I get someone to take our picture because no one will EVER believe this happened to me. He puts his arm around me again and some fan snaps a pic. Then he asks me where my seats are and I tell him. He says "Naw, we are gonna fix that". And he upgrades my seat to 4th row! He was so nice to me and I will never forget that. People say he was racist but I am as white as they come and he showed me nothing but kindness when he didn't have to even include me, once he changed his mind about me driving him to the strip club. RIP New Jack and thank you. You may have done things that make people hate you but you showed me a side of yourself that not many ever got to know and made my 21st birthday a day to always remember.
  • When he said “Jerome young was quite a individual” I shed tears...you can tell new jack meant a lot to Paul..he truly was quite a individual..the true pioneer of the “attitude era” he dripped it

“Vince McMahon is the biggest pimp on record, the ring is the tracks and we the ho’s” -New Jack

Paraphrased quote from The Blue Meanie: "We had our first ECW show in Canada, and everyone was shocked when they saw New Jack walk into the locker room. Someone said, 'I'm surprised you could make it over here.' New Jack said, 'Man that water was COLD!!!' and everyone in the locker room popped!"

You can just feel how much Heyman still loves ECW, and all the wrestlers that passed through there, and how much passion he still has for it.
  • Seeing the tears welling up in Paul shows just how much he loved all the ECW guys, and its so touching to see.
  • i love how heyman STILL til this day talks about them playing the gangsta's music and them never having the rights to it 😂😂😂😂
  • “I wish you all a most EXTREME weekend. Gangsta style”.- Paul Heyman I’m still crying😭😭❤️❤️
  • Love him or hate him, Paul Heyman always keeps it real. It was nice to see that WWE let him pay tribute to one of the craziest wrestlers to ever grace the ring.
  • "And no, we never had rights to use his music. Why? Because we was gangstas." This is everything. ECW never obtained rights to the music they used. Just makes the entrances of RVD, New Jack, and Sandman all the more badass.
  • @Gagaganerd
I love that he broke character for this , he loved ecw and all the originals where his family . Rip jack
  • Just realized this is the first time New Jack was ever mentioned on WWE programming
  • I keep coming back to this video cuz this is honestly one of the best things WWE has done or put out in the past 3 years giving honor to a guy like new Jack and allowing Paul Heyman to do it.
  • @theostgard6212
Paul Heyman might be a different kind of person. But he definitely has his moments of kindness. He does care about these guys more than a number.
