  • Bon Jovi and this song and Europe with The Final Countdown, created two iconics songs in 1986
  • 2:44 the happiness on your face when you recognised it and started singing warmed my heart as a diehard Bon Jovi lunatic fan

What a great reaction, couldn't stop smiling, when watching. Bon Jovi are amongst the greatest artists ever imo. You could choose 30 songs and they will all be great. Some suggestions "You Give Love a Bad Name", "Always", "It's My Life", "Bed of Roses", "Wanted Dead or Alive", "Bad Medicine" etc.

This is, in fact, their most popular song Their most ICONIC hit I was raised on Bon Jovi, so this is the song of my PEOPLE, and it was so fun watching you react to it!

I remember sometime in the mid to late 90s (maybe even early 2000s) I made a mix CD to play at work (Pizza Hut delivery) and had this song on it. Going through all the music on it, and this song came on and the whole kitchen team started singing it out loud, managers and all. Didn't matter what age the staff were or what sort of music they were into, everyone had to just join in with this one. Such a great memory.

There isn't a bad song on that album. brings back alot of memories growing up in the 80s.

I love how happy you looked the second you recognized it and started singing along! If you want to get pure chills, you should check out the live version of this song from the New Years Eve 1988 special at the Tokyo Dome, absolutely amazing!!!
  • Jon Bon Jovi was the reason I got into songwriting. It is unbelievable how much hit songs this band has had over the years. It’s such a shame to see Jon struggling with his vocals these days but when you hear the crowd sing along to songs like this, you can see that the legacy he has and I think that’s pretty cool.

This is an iconic song. I've seen the band live and it's even more awesome live.
  • @HotRod9967
the 80's were a magical time most of us older people would like to go back to
  • This is their signature song, their national anthem, but in their long career, they collected a LOT of iconic songs. Maybe the most proficuous hit single in terms of selling is "Always". I suggest to you to complete the Holy Trinity of their most celebrated early hits: "You Give Love a Bad Name" and especially "Wanted Dead or Alive".

The 80s bands are my all time favorite! Definitely react to more!
  • @lucaswilson1701
You need to react to more Bon Jovi. One of the greatest hit makers of their generation. They've had hits in the 80's, 90's, 00's and 10's. It's a great rabbit hole to go down
  • My top 5 favorites 1 it’s my life 2 bed of roses 3 born to be my baby 4 living on a prayer 5 you give love a bad name
  • @RobBreedon
Brings back lot of memories cruising the summer streets in 87 in the car with Bon Jovi, Maiden, the Crue and the rest of the hair bands blasting out of the car the late 80s the best time of my life.

Jon Bon Jovi and his band used to play a lot down in Asbury Park, NJ when he was starting out on the late seventies into the early eighties. While I spent a lot of time hanging out there around the same time, I never saw him play. Spent most of my time at the Stone Pony listening to Springsteen and Southside Johnny and the Asbury Jukes. His crowd was a few years younger than the one I hung with.
  • Oh for the days when music was actually made to make you feel good and lift your spirits :) As others have said, Bon Jovi hardly put a foot wrong during their career and made some truly great songs - Runaway, Tokyo Road and Shot Through the Heart are some other favourites of mine.
  • Anything 80's to mid 90's Bon Jovi is magic. So many great songs. His ballads are really good too, like "Allways" one you've probably heard. And thank you for not pausing the video 10 times. You get it. Top job.
