After becoming too suspicious to keep up his fake persona, Moomin tries to tell the others the truth but fails when they refused to believe something so impossible. He runs off only to found by little My, Snorkmaiden and Mommin papa who interrogate him. Moomin Mama who decides to act on her motherly instincts steps in to glance upon the creature to see if he's truly her son.
This scene is so sweet ♡ Moomin mama was so compassionate, composed and amazing as always. She never gave up on her son and even though he was different physically, she could tell it was her child beneath everything ♡ This is true love ♡ She gave him a chance even when everyone was against him. She trusted her intuition. The music is so amazing ♡

I met Moomins only 2 years ago, and when I first watched this film adaptation, i did not attach serious importance to it. But this year, i admit, when i rewatched this episode the other day, i just couldn’t hold back my tears, and i just cried at that moment 😭🥺 I also decided to rewatch the same episode tonight and I was just trying to hold myself back from crying, it’s a very heartbreaking, cute and sad thing I saw in 2019 episodes 😭😭🥺🥺 But I may have cried with this episode last year, but only this year the hardest!
