In 4 NCAA finals, Daton Fix has not scored a single offense point, only escapes, stalling points, and penalty points. 2019 vs Suriano, 2 escapes. 2021 vs RBY, 2 stalling points. 2022 vs RBY, 2 escapes. 2024 vs Vito 2 escapes and 1 penalty point.

Vito wrestled to win. Fix wrestled not to lose. That's always a hard task to pull off.

Just love the "STALLING!" chants. Fix deserved those 110%. He has showed ZERO evolution since 2019.

I like how Vito's father backs away from the interview to ensure his son is front-and-center. He did that last year, also.

Glad Fix lost. Does nothing but stall the whole match. Wants blood time to take a breather bc he doesn’t have the cardio. Vito deserved that win

In Fix’s 4 NCAA championship appearances (2019 vs Suriano, 2021 vs RBY, 2022 vs RBY, and 2024 vs Vito) he has only ever scored points for escapes, stalling, and locked hands. Never once had he gotten a takedown, reversal, riding time, or back points in his 4 championship matches. Might be the least offensive wrestler in D1 History

It’s beating a dead horse at this point, but it’s true. Daton is a stall merchant. He just doesn’t get to his offense and it bites him in big matches.
