  • I don't think any kind of proper art can be quick and easy... It takes time to discover ourselves and even more time to translate it freely onto anything we do with our hands. It's a lifetime project and I absolutely love the way you approach and teach it! Thank you for this 🙏🧡

Thank you for being so candid and talking about your process so succinctly. I look forward to more videos. I like the ‘realness’ of your presentation.
  • ✨ Louise, Thank you so much for BEing who you are and putting up this video when you did. My intuition led me to see your piece, hear you, feel your message. I was crying and releasing something in my soul. I'm not sure how to convey that out loud but I believe you understand what that is. I don't know how long ago I followed your YouTube but haven't had my mindset on it. But synchronicities in my spirit led me here. I found out about you, Stefani Stark, and Nicholas Wilton during the stay at home days a couple of years ago. This is the time I'm supposed to create something. I have never painted before. I have always believed that I had to "be" someone that knew how to draw to be an artist or to be creative. I'm embracing my little sweet Empath right now and giving her permission to start expressing her energy in any abstract way that she seems. Bless you Precious Soul. ✨💖✨💖✨💖✨💖✨

Thanks Louise, I was telling my friends about what I’ve learned from taking your courses, basically abstract art makes me excited and that’s what I’m drawn to and try to make. And like me before , they don’t know that abstract art has principles applied to it too, so I’m so grateful that I’ve learned from you and I still am. ❤

Right on 100% I stumbled upon this video AFTER I commented on a post in the Art Tribe FB and I basically said the same thing giving advice re: Help I'm all over the place...paint what you love, paint what you feel and you can never go wrong. I learned that from a great teacher! xx

I totally agree. I think of abstract art as 'abstracting' from ideas, concepts and/or visual and emotional elements taken from our personal experience or our understanding and interpretation of other people's. It's so much more than copying someone else's non representational art (although that may useful for learning techniques). I liked you point about wall decoration! 👍 I think I'll refer to that in the future! . . . Love how the studio is looking by the way! ❤

True words! One can make a quick and easy painting once, maybe twice or a few times, using some techniques they had learned from someone's video. That won't make them an artist, neither it will make their creation a work of art. However! if the process of creation that "quick and easy" thing makes them enjoy it and makes them work further, learn more, grow into an artist - they are your people, Louise :)

You make me laugh 😆 thanks for speaking your mind about ‘quick abstracts’ it really annoys me too. Thanks for sharing and I love that brush 😮
  • @annrubino6252
Good message, Louise. Obviously, MOMA didn't put you off entirely. Nice to hear your commitment to your art is stronger than ever. Brava!
  • @hannahkey6169
We’re finding the meaning in it — yes ❤ Love this, Louise.
  • Exactly. Wanting my body..and my real self, to describe itself creatively! Visually!🌸
  • I love that brush. It is called Liquitex Freestyle Acrylic Brush Splatter and it can be purchased around Blicks, Amazon, Jerry’s. It is a big brush so it does not work well on small surfaces.
  • This such a great video !…. Love your honesty…. I too have noticed a resent influx people advertising courses on how to ‘do’ abstract paintings 😂…..wall decoration is indeed what they are, shallow.
