I worked at DD as a kid and you can select a setting between 1 and 10 for discharging filling, One cheapo manager always would set it to 1. When she was not present, we would set it to 5 or 6.

A bunch of companies end up lying to us, the fact that some people believe that they don’t is beyond me…

Dry ass donut & dishapointment, 🤣love it!

Calling boneless wings 'wings" has always been a marketing ploy. They never have been literally deboned chicken wings, there just isn't enough meat on chicken wings to bother deboning them.

To be fair, pumpkin spice isn't supposed to contain pumpkin, just the spices that you add to pumpkin when you make pie.

It looks like cosmetic companies are the worst at deceitful packaging. All of the unused space in their packaging is disgraceful and horribly wasteful.
  • Your take on the Theranos situation is both right and ridiculously wrong at the same time. Elizabeth ruined her head’s scientists life leading to his suicide and her machines were used on real patients causing a pregnant woman to believe she was miscarrying. Her actions had direct consequences on innocent people and ruined several lives so saying that she only affected the rich is a little ridiculous. However her only being punished for defrauding investors as opposed to everyone she hurt is pretty bad, I agree with you there

I think it’s sad how horrible our food quality is in the fast food industry.
  • @kieronparr3403
Theranos did blood tests on real people. What are you on about "victims deserved it" She also ruined legit scientists lives/careers
  • @sassygal2008
Eleven years is not enough for the lives she ruined. She treated her employees like garbage and one guy ended his life because of his involvement with Theranos.

I’m a line manager working for McDonald’s (in the UK) and I can confirm the pictures of any products McDonald’s uses are fake. In fact, they’re not even food. All the ingredients you see are in fact plastic and rubber replicas that are designed to look appetising. All pictures are made internally at the head office, all the ‘ingredients’ are arranged to look like the most delicious burger ever and pictures taken in the perfect lighting. The fake ingredients are bigger and more colourful than the real ones. It’s just advertising, nothing more.

The Theranos thing was used at spas and people suffered from the wrong findings. I recall a pregnant woman as the most shocking case. So there were no only rich investors effected.

There's a third choice when it comes to fast food -- don't buy or eat it. Many of those items can be made at home and there are lots of copycat recipies to do so online.

    1. Truth in advertising. If your ads are deceitful, expect lawsuits. 2. The standards for the American food supply are disgusting.

I don't know how many times I have to explain this to people- It's pumpkin SPICE. It's the spices that you put into pumpkin puree to make a pumpkin pie with. That is, it's a mixture of cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg, and/or ginger. It can be made with actual pumpkin, or pumpkin flavouring added to it; but that's not what the name is actually implying or guaranteeing. If you're looking for something that guarantees that actual pumpkin or pumpkin flavouring is added to it; look for pumpkin pie flavoured items, not pumpkin spice.

Re 18:04 Last winter I bought the Hostess white Snowball "cupcakes" in the winter themed package. The two white snowballs look like a snowman in the package with dots for eyes, a nose and a smile on one of them - (it was too cute to not buy) open the package to learn that the dots are printed on the wrapper with two plain white snowballs inside.

Maybe 15-17 years ago, I bought some MBT (rocker bottom) sneakers and sandals. Took a while to get used to, but once I knew how to keep my balance, they were the most comfortable shoes I've ever had. Wore them traveling all over Europe and the US. It was this year that the sandals finally disintegrated, and I'm so sad because I can't find that exact style again. Maybe they didn't make me lose weight, but they do require your calves to get a little workout, and I could feel some stretch in the back of my legs and hips/backside. The Sketchers might have overstated its benefits, but similar rocker-bottom shoes really can be super comfortable for long walks.

9:12 you know, at my last doctor's visit, they used a new kind of syringe that doesn't need to be slowly pushed. they just push it, it shoots the liquid in quickly, they take it out. It's pretty cool to be honest
