• Toshimaro and Takeda have their original themes restored in the Ultimate Battles, with both originally using the regular boss theme "Before the Sasanqua Falls".

• While "The Rhapsody of Chivalry" doesn't appear in the main game, it does play during the Ultimate Battles for "Combat Challenge 2", "Skill Challenge 4", and "Ultimate Challenge 2 Battle 3".

• Sodachi Nobuyasu replaces Sodachi Hidetake, who is more or less the same character but a Toyotomi rather than a Sanada.

• "Pray Me -Revive-", "Town Bully", "With Vengeance", "Pledge of Demon", "Sounds Storm" are reused songs from older LAD games, from 'Yakuza Kiwami', 'Yakuza 6', 'Yakuza 0', and 'Yakuza 3' respectively.

  • That Pledge of Demon was not remaked gives me the idea that it's actually Kuze himself and he somehow time-travelled back to fight Kiryu's ancestor
  • @cancer7209
why is nobody talking about how akiyama's theme is literally a drip remix
  • Love how SEGA remastered like everyone Boss Theme Fight, like it doesn't fit the Samurai Era, but when it comes to Ito/Kuza, they're like "Yeah this shit is too fire to replace"
  • Kuze really followed us all the way back to 1800 for one more run back. I thought I was done with Hitoshi Ozawa but he wasn't done with me.
  • @medd1683
bro even inserted rhapsody of chivalry even tho it got replaced, what a chad
  • Hearing Pledge of Demon as penultimate boss theme gives a new vibe to the song itself
  • @Budgethunter
When I heard the first few notes of "for my sake", I started crying bruh.
  • @darthace5535
Pledge of demon and with vengeance are so cool that they transcend yakuza timelines
  • @MasatakaEbina
I am very disappointed my boy Aizawa didn't get a remixed version of Battle For The Dream. Or atleast his normal theme.
  • @PedroStrife
There is no bad theme in the game, remixes like Soar slaps so hard. What an shame that RGG studio didn't give Toshizo an dynamic intro.
  • i just finished the game like 2 hours ago, i was happy they kept pledge of demon, they were like "yeah this song is good enough it doesnt need a remix" also glad thomas glover got his 3 theme in this version
  • @bigcheese3115
When I heard the remix of Fly from Yakuza 3, I legit had to pause the game and take a minute. I was almost crying when I heard this theme. Yakuza 3 is my favorite game of the whole series, and hearing this remix was like a love letter to all the Yakuza fans who were around when Yakuza 3 first came out in 2009.
  • seeing pledge of demon make it's return definitely brought back the memories of 0.
  • @Nosfera22
I'm glad they found a way to work Shimano into the game, he was one of the replacements that I thought was unneeded
  • @GabedalfTheWhite
Saejima, Akiyama, Watase and Mine really just got the absolute best fucking theme remixes. OST for this game went so hard and I love it
  • As someone who never played OG Ishin, I love the themes given to the Tennen Rishin Users (Essence of the Sword and Tonight's Piercing Tiger), the first is super tense, and the second one is so majestic, like Kondo Isami himself!
  • @Toe-collector
I love how they brought back With Vengeance, Pledge of Demon and the CIA theme from 3. Kinda wished they had remixes but i guess thats fine
  • There's a part of me that does wish that Pledge of Demon got a remix for the game... but why mess with perfection? This is a stacked soundtrack and it's somehow still the best song on it. It's just that good.
  • Never thought a flamenco guitar would fit in edo period.
