Haven't seen this movie in years but that "YOU MISSED ME!" Just gave me a tingle of nostalgia all over
  • I remember seeing this scene and asking my father what it was. He said "its a documentary on life in Mexico".

I remember sneaking into the cinema with some friends to watch this. I must have been about 12 or 13. Was the greatest film I saw that year. The action was off the chart and I fell in love with Salma Hayek. To this day, this is still one of my top 10 movies.

This movie , Interview with a vampire, and the first Zorro, this time period was indeed a golden one for Antonio Banderas, and he is still appearing in many great movies today..
  • They don't make movies like this no more. This is one of those old school movies that I NEVER get tired of watching.
  • Perfectly cast. Iconic. Oozes charisma and emotion with every gesture. In the action scenes, he is a barely controlled beast. In the love scenes with Salma, he is charming, yet vulnerable. This movie is a masterpiece in so many ways.

Banderas really exudes badassery in the 90's, especially here and in the Mask of Zorro! That era was really his to begin with, and his collaboration with Robert Rodriguez is epic.
  • Always felt Banderas was perfectly casted for the film. Also liked how 'believable' the character felt. Seeing the panic and all the spraying and praying.

It's '22 and I still say "Not yettttt." I don't know if it's a good or bad thing, but this movie brought me into adulthood. Such a cool film.

@2:35 this part is so freaking badass and epic. He's trying ease the situation but when it gets worse, he takes it to the next level and reacts quick. The sync with the music is perfect.
