As a Christian man with a wife and children I’m glad I watched this. Leading my family has been a subject of my prayers lately and this gave me some clarity.

As a woman, I have to make sure that when I speak to a man, I am speaking to him in and with a tone of respect. I realize that because of a lack of having good, solid, biblical relationships with men, I have had to learn to be strong...not having a godly father until the latter part of his life...a lack in that department as well. My dad came to Christ in the latter years of his life before he passed last year! Praise Jesus!! Yet, I see that in order to learn about biblical submission to a man, I first need to listen and submit to Jesus Christ and do things his way and realize that things...relationship are to make me grow up. We have to, as women, make sure that we are seeking and acting like biblical women and not preaching it while accepting just a "Christian" man. While we expect the man to be a Kingdom man, I, as a "christian woman", I need to make sure that I am being a kingdom woman and becoming the woman I am supposed to be. Yes, the man is responsible, but I am to make sure that I am giving respect to that man when God places one in front of me with grace, yet not enabling him either. Build them up and help them become the man God has called them to be...HOW? PRAY, FAST, LOVE, ENCOURAGE,...never tear down and treat them or talk to them like they ain't got no sense. I am a single woman...seeking God's man in my life. Currently dating - yes. A Man who is growing as a christian man. I realize how often I need to be in prayer and on my knees making sure I am becoming the woman I am to be as well as praying for him to be the man God called him to be and encouraging him in that walk and calling. I have to continue to give him over to God and let God have control so He can work in this man. We also have to be willing to let go and let God do His work in these men because we can't play the Holy Spirit. As women, sometimes??? we want to see change YESTERDAY. God's timing...he is patient with us. Let God work and handle that man...He knows what he needs more and better than we do
