Sitting in (On a Tea Spoon) - Mark McLean

We're playing an E flat Blues named Sandu by the great Clifford Brown. My good friend and drummer Mark McLean randomly hopped on a tea spoon and was swinging with us.

Honestly, pretty bold of the man to play a spoon with Peter Bernstein 😅
  • Wow. Amazing guitarists. And the drummer! Dude’s making a table and spoon sound good.
  • @Kinduvblu
Is that spoon from Sabian or Pearl? I never got a good look at it. The table is definitely a Zildjian. Good tone.
  • @timotheous86
definitely bringing my spoon to the next performance

The chord comping is amazing. Top notch jazz playing. The percussionist swings with his groove.

Rotem you’re tone is killer man and you’re playing is so fluid and melodic!’
  • Hermoso toso, no puedo creer que se escuche a la gente de fondo hablando sin parar, teniendo frente a si una situación musical tan brillante. Saludos desde Argentina

Superb playing from both artists. I just discovered Rotem last week with his 12 bar blues videeo with Adam Neely. What a smooth player! I think I heard Rotem quote "Surrey With a Fringe on Top" followed by "September in the Rain"

Wonderful. Thanks to both of you!
  • Those diners in the background do not know what they are missing. Incredible guitar playing. Thank you.
