I love how her dad did his best to ensure his daughter was happy, he did a great job with her hair and kudos to Amber for not following her so called ‘friends’ and actually being nice to Penelope, she didn’t deserve being treated that way by Rochelle and the other girl. That's what happens, when parents force their child to invite someone to their birthday. It's never the kid's fault that they weren't supposed to be invited, but they mostly always end up being the ones, who get all the negativity. Seriously if the girl wasn't invited at all it wouldn't have hurt her as much, as being left out during the party did. This behaviour is so messed up, and it eventually will hurt both the ones who were forced to invite someone and the ones who were technically invited, yet unwanted. Even though the two girls acted mean, I think the parents are at fault, which I think the father realised and wanted to make up for this by making his daughters own glam day. A really good message for both parents and kids. You should treat people the way you wanna be treated, not just try to make yourself look better. Edit: Please stop writing that I'm mean! Tell me where exactly did I justify the mean girls' behaviour? Nowhere. I never said it was a normal thing to do. I did however explain the reason behind it, which is not the same thing as exusing something or normalizing something.
