Frenck always does great stuff. I'm going to use this to clean up my 4+ year HA instance. Thanks.
  • @KarlMiller
FOUR MINUTES INTO THE VIDEO AND I STILL DON'T KNOW WHAT THE HECK THIS IS. GAVE UP
  • @GMoneyLove
Six or more minutes into this video and all I've gotten is what I can read on the Spook website. Why? Eight plus minutes in and we are finally getting to the meat of all this. This video, with all the great information could be so much stronger and more people could get more from it with some better editing. FWIW.

It’s actually a must have helps keep your home assistant cleaner.

I had so many weird bugs, mostly from me learning better and better ways to do things, I finally wiped everything and started over, not even from backup. The biggest hurtle for me was remembering what all things I had, and how to make it all again. I also chose not to reinstall Node-RED since automations can easily do everything, at least at my level of knowledge (low)
  • @rhosk
    Gonna play with this, thanks!
  • @tprav
I get it lol! Thank you for this video. I'm trying Spook and will be referring back to the video for guidance. So much time is needed focusing on HA set up /dashboard which (mine) is a mess!
  • @mattnelson1366
Thanks for the PSA on HA Backups... good reminder to verify my backup is working.
  • @DonParlor
Hello Chris! I recently had a problem with the Tuya integration and every Tuya-entity disappeared from HA but also from my automations. I remembered I had seen your video about Spook and I just installed it. Spook quickly highlighted all problems related to my automations, this is great! Thanks for sharing this integration with your subscribers.

I can't get my network-storage to work with Frigate/Home Assistant OS. Want to save my recordings to my network-storage instead in my sd-card. Can you perhaps make a video about it?
  • @JMX246
After you fix a repair item - how do you get it to "re-scan / refresh" - without rebooting HA - thanks for posting - great content
  • @rodneysmith1750
Great video, thanks for all your time and efforts. I can see a few times I could make use of this, but I am too much of a noob and think I may not live long enough to understand everything in HA and how to manipulate it. Still....
  • @Joseph-ko2kl
Back up advice..best part of this! LOL. Been there Homie.
  • @jlpnea
Very powerful, but be very careful when using it. Make a good backup before, I happened to have to restore the backup because HA had become corrupted
  • @ErikGeurts
The Dutch pronunciation for Spook is actually virtually identical to the English "Spoke". The sound of the O is like the O in ghost.
  • Any updates on your experience with this Custom Integration. Still as happy as expected?
