it's funny to see how much game sack has changed over the years and how they operate.

I’m here 9 years later & honestly, this is one of my favorite episodes!
-
I didn't know Wonder Boy games went under SO MANY different names! I'd love to look at a table that shows all the releases in order
-
Monster World 4 is the 4th Monster World game. The first was Monster Land, then Dragon's Trap and then Monster World on the Genesis. Wonder Boy 1 wasn't a Monster world Game so if Monster World IV had Wonder Boy in it, it'd actually be Wonder Boy 5. Easy to get confused!
-
Super Adventure Island 2 is legit one of my top 5 SNES games. The sound track is amazing too. I'm sad you brushed it off so quickly.
-
Wonderboy III: The Dragon's Trap is my favourite Wonderboy game, I can't wait for the offically supported remake by Lizardcube and DotEmu, which is supported by series creator Ryuichi Nishizawa.

These old episodes where they just argue are hilarious. Coming back after finding out daves leaving

I remember my Dad getting addicted to Wonder Boy, staying up all night trying to beat it. Good times.

These guys are crazy thinking that Super Adventure Island II sucks. That game was AWESOME! It was a nice change of pace from the traditional side-scrollers.
-
Just found this channel, and it's awesome. I especially like these kinds of videos, where you go over /retro/ games, and all the different ports and stuff.
-
Hey, you guys used my orchestral remix of the Wonderboy in Monsterland music! :)
-
Dave: I hate those crabs You can get cream for them now...
-
Adventure Island (1) for the NES had some excellent music throughout. ♥
-
Also, MW4 is in English on XBLA and you can add scanlines for authentic looks!
-
Of course... Bi-curious Man. He's on a quest to discover his true sexuality.
-
you can pause with the Player 2 controller in Dragon's Trap. Love that game! "Metroidvania" style
-
Also Jaleco made a port of Wonder Boy in Monster Land on Famicom called Saiyūki World. They changed all the characters to Journey to the West characters, but the game itself is pretty much the same. I find it funny that the same game exists under so many different names and made by different companies on different platforms.

What's with the "moon language" stuff? Last time I checked, Japan is still firmly placed on the Earth.

"I love how he's all about safety, wearing a helmet" <- pure gold! I laughed hard!
