Mcgee leaving game design is even sadder than losing this game series. The man has true vision and I would have loved to see what other worlds he could create.

EA proves time and time again how insufferable they are. There's a reason they were voted most disliked company ever at one point.

The Alice: Asylum design bible is so detailed. I wish I had it in a large, fancy, hardcopy book. It's not the video game we all wanted but it's something special at least. Wish EA would take the hit for this game. I know the Alice series wasn't very popular but I believe it could be if EA gave it more attention.

Oh man... I really, really, REALLY love this game and I thought he was still crowd funding it but I guess he needed to continue somehow. God, this breaks my heart...

I hate ea sometimes, the game was amazing and now granted i just beat the madness returns one and havent touched the first game yet but however the game is one of my favorites. It would have been nice to play the third one 😢

Honestly even though the game wont happen, seeing how much it brought the community together is crazy. The whole bible being aided by the fans, having fan ost's made, and you can even find so many wonderful analysis videos on the asylum game explained by devoted fans. For anyone looking for that little bit of Mcgee joy, there are also Alice stop motion videos you can watch by Mcgee himself of alice!

There was a lot of talent in this series. It is a shame that there are so many instances where you have a truly talented person with an artistic vision and the motivation to realize it that isn't allowed to do it because some company only cared about money, or simply didn't have insight to realize there was something special there. I hope these games receive the recognition they deserve at some point.

I nearly cry everytime I think about Asylum. What could have, and should have, been. I hold the Alice games very near and dear to my heart. I was there for every livestream. 💔
