Was FNAF 4 intending it all to be a dream?

The thing about dream theory is that its the most compelling narrative within the whole "Four games. One story." limitation. FNaF4 gameplay being from perspective of fnaf1 night guard just doesn't make sense within 4G1S. The reason why dream theory is so widely believed to have been true at least to some degree is because there's just too many little details, too many references. In the end, it seems to me that fnaf4 retroactively tried to pull towards a form of dream theory, while everything sister location onwards tries its hardest to walk away from that idea the box remained closed because the answer wouldve disappointed the community, and that definitely fits the bill for dream theory. i myself was always more of a fnaf3 ending truther, but tbh i've seen interpretations of dream theory that felt more satisfying than anything that fnaf lore had going for it after, and maybe that's why i have my own biases - most my problems with fnaf lore begun taking place when sister location happened and tried to overcorrect fnaf4

Oh man this was a T R I P, I have not thought about dream theory in a long damn time, I think the fact that the lore has drifted away from that conclusion kinda proves to me that dream theroy probably was never truly intended.
