This is currently my favorite song. Something about it just makes my heart soar. It deserves more appreciation than it gets.

Owl City reminds me that it’s okay to be broken, that the embers can always come back to life and it’s okay if they are cold for little while, or even a long while. No matter how much I have to be broken to survive, God is always with me, and He holds the match to keep the fire alive. It’s okay to be broken. It’s okay to cry. It’s okay to fail and not be perfect. It’s okay to need help. We all reach a breaking point and that’s alright. Let it break you and remake you into something better and stronger. But improvement takes time. So for now, be still, be broken, and know that He is God and He will carry you through. Don’t let the fire die!

When I was young I first discovered Owl City because Fireflies was on the radio, and ever since then its always been like my cradle, the one thing that could always soothe me. I haven't listened to him in a while and lately I've been feeling suicidal. I've been depressed for a good few years mind you. And I clicked on this video because I felt like that title was familiar when I realized I had actually never heard it. Maybe that was what was meant to happen. I suppose I've been looking for something to keep me going, and maybe this was it... it won't fix all my problems, but it makes the pain a little easier to handle.
