Happy Anniversary, Deltarune Chapter 2! It feels like it was just the day before yesterday one year ago that our lives were forever changed by a certain spambot... because it was. I'm two days late. Whoops!
This is my first attempt at making any kind of rig like this, and I'm pretty pleased with the results and my efforts. Keep in mind that this is absolutely not as well optimized as it could be, due to an absence of both time and skill. I made this model for myself to use in another music video I want to create at some point, but I figured I'd clean it up a little and release it for anyone else to use!
He has multiple outfits and options, many of which were not displayed in this video. Check it out yourself!

Oh my god. Almost a whole month this has been out, and I only JUST realized I mistyped the URL at the end. It's .org, not .com! decamarks.neocities.org/spamton.html The link in the description was always correct, so hopefully this didn't cause /that/ much confusion. Oops. </3

This honestly captures the essence of Spamton's personality and dialogue so well. The idea of character rigging being his strings is also a very creative take on his concept of freedom. This is really well done and you should be beyond proud of yourself!

0:40 kind of funny how the thing you use to make a character's head move makes him look like an angel in this, it's like some type of halo

i enjoy how he's papyrus for 19 whole frames. AMAZING rig, he's adorable. great work and i hope this is used for both good and evil.

This is so well done! Including the rigging circles being his "Strings" was a nice touch!

I love the effort put in to make him feel like an actual puppet. The way he moves, the little squeaks and creaks he makes when he moves, all that.

This is the best 3D Spamton model I think I've ever seen, along with the fact that this animation to showcase it is incredibly charming!

0:21 Spamton's face here is surprisingly adorable. The sheer surprise and joy at his realization is sweet

This is very impressive character animation, especially considering the strange character. The shot where he realizes he's 3D is genius- his eyes go wide, go small, shoot around. He takes off his glasses, and, just for a moment, we see a genuine, pleasant expression beneath his glitchy, unnerving exterior. Before the next shot, where he goes insane again, he poses for a moment, because he's exactly the kind of guy to show off the moment he recovers.

I literally silently screamed at this. This is so beautifully rendered, the animation is so smooth, and detailed! I adore the attention you placed on his expressions, and the finger details of his motions and gestures, it's so full of life and it's very in-character for him. Alas, I don't have enough words to convey how this is probably one of the top tier animations for him. I especially love the items he has on sale actually being rendered, what a nice touch!

Just absolutely amazing, incredible, so much movement live for a lifeless husk of a former salesman, really hope animators use this one Also love the little in the disclaimer text in the bottom about the toys being sinister, and thr company that made it just completely disappeared off of the face of the planet, and the only reason why there soo many Spamtons in mint condition is because nobody wants them, fits the lore very well

I don't know why but I just really like the animation of Spamton admiring his hair when he realizes he's 3D. This was really good!

I have subscribed. Not many just have the ability to casually learn art, learn 3D art, modeling, texturing, animating and rigging only to put it out for free. Endless respect for your generosity.
