Ngayon ko lang napanuod ito. Namatayan ako ng anak ko, pag asa ko na magka anak sana. 43 yrs old ako ng inilabas ko sya kaso 8 months lang at wala na sya tibok ng puso kaya sa loob ko sya namatay. 2019 yun. Pero ang sakit, pagsisisi andito sa puso ko. Kaya ko na kwento ito, dahil umiiyak ako habang nanunuod nito. Kwento ng isang lolo at isang ama. Salamat sa Diyos, nakita ang bangkay. Panalangin ko na sa ngayon, kahit papano sana, naibsan na ang lungkot at sakit sa mga puso nila, sa puso at isipan ng lahat ng namatayan sa trahedya na ito. Panalangin ko na bigyan kayo ng kapayapaan ng ating Panginoong Hesus. At panalangin ko na wag na sana may mangyayari pa na muli na ganitong trahedya saanman sa Pilipinas at saanman sa buong mundo. We went to this place for duty a year ago. All the people there treated us nicely, they even fed us and asked us to join them again for a meal the next day. It hurts to see the list of the deceased and missing people of ucab. They seem all too familiar, we remembered their names, their faces their homes

I am from Itogon, Benguet. I was born and raised in this place. Small scale mining is indeed the livelihood of my hometown for so many years. A lot of typhoons came and the mountains stood strong. A month before I came home, I was informed that it was already raining for so long, thus, mining is compromised. Few days after I left, I heard that the SUPERTYPHOON would hit our place. The land was already loose before the supertyphoon came, thus, when OMPONG hit the land, it easily gave up. You shouldn't blame it all to the small scale miners because not all landslides that happened in the country was due to mining. We are still mourning and most of us are traumatized for this disaster. Kindly find the humanity in you. Stop bashing the people who only work for the sake of their families.

Nakakaiyak... Gaya nga ng sabi ni tatay lahat na ng pwedeng pasukan na trabaho ay ginawa nya na. Di naman lahat ng tao ay maswerte at nakakapagtapos ng pagaaral sa pagmimina nga nagaalangan pa yung ama nung namatay dahil baka daw may requirements. Ang sakit sa puso nito. Sana may aksyon to at makatanggap sila ng tulong.
