  • I really love this community so much☺️ Just the best questions out there🩷🩵💗💙 I have used acupuncture due to different physical conditions I have had, and I believe that it depends on how good the acupuncturist is,,,,I have had great results from one and then when I moved and saw someone else, I actually ended up with some nerve damage,,,,it all depends on the practitioner you are seeing,,,,,And as a person that very often comes up with their own words, well, I know that it's nothing to worry about Ellie,,,we are just expanding the English language 😅😁 I remember my mom telling me that she thought women didn't really come into their own until after menopause, and even though she died before I hit middle age, I never forgot what she said, and yes mom, you were absolutely right🤗♥️ Everyone stay safe, and remember to lead with love💕🙏💥✨☀️💫
  • Being a boomer, I always campaigned for women's rights and I believed that we had made considerable progress. Unfortunately, in recent years, much of our achievements have been lost, and statistically, violence against women has increased considerably throughout the world. But, I believe that in the years that follow, there will be a turnaround where the whole world will realize that we are all equal.❤

Not only am I invisible (at 73), I am now talked down to all the time by professionals, especially medical ones, who often call me 'dear', almost patting me on the head, as if my brain no longer works, or maybe they think it never did work well anyway, given I'm female. I just let them rattle on and then sting them by displaying my own knowledge - only the other day I metaphorically beat down a junior doctor at the hospital who tried to tell me I'd got something I couldnt possibly have because of the preventative drugs I am on, and refused her offer of treatment for something I didn't have. She finally asked me had I been medically trained - it helps if you can use medical terminology back at them. But its exhausting and exasperating, and its not just male medics either...

I was a Critical Care RN for 45 years, a Licensed Acupuncturist for 30 years, a Certified Dynamic Manual Interface Manual Therapist for 26 years, and a Certified Esogetic Colorpuncturist for 20 years. I am very well versed in the sciences, and adore physics. I can assure any doubters that acupuncture works on the biochemical and physics levels in the body, by creating electrical, mechanical, and chemical changes in the body. It is not a cure all, but is quite magical in its effects on the body, mind, spirit, and emotion. Oriental Medicine is not just acupuncture, but encompasses Chinese Herbs, Qi Gong, breathing, diet, meditation, an entire lifestyle. Also, many people outside the Orient do not get the benefits, due to the financial constraints, and lack of every day treatment for courses of 10-14 days, and series of courses.
  • My acupuncturist was a research psychologist who left Western medicine to study acupuncture and Chinese medicine and says that the latter is now her only medicine. To me, that speaks volumes as to its legitimacy.
  • "weird is the new normal", never have words been better spoken. ❤

Hi Ellie thanks for that reading. I have found acupuncture helpful for me. As a woman who is pushing 70. I can say our society does not value the senior population and if you are a "Senior Woman" it is even worse. I have been a professional, person with significant responsibility, but now that I am retired , I definitely feel invisible. This is not only my experience, but that of many of my peers.I sure hope I am alive to see the 2026 event. I have to say today being reincarnated doesn't appeal to me, but hey , if I live to experience the beginning of the awakening maybe I will change my mind.😂❤

I have always admired your clean looks and the confidence you show in yourself.

One of my dogs had a series of accupuncture treatments for a led condition that normally would require surgery and she got better. The dog required a tune up ocassionally but she did very well and never needed surgery.

“Weird is the new normal”! I certainly hope so!!! 😂
  • @bradyx524
Lots of love to the woman with the "middle aged" question. I felt every word that you had said and that Ellie had said. These years are a struggle. I really believe that it will get better. ❤

OMG, Ellie! You look and are spiritually beautiful. Love the hair length and loose curls! Love that you look natural and healthy. That is something you should always feel proud of. Stay your lovely, pure, authentic self. We love you.♥️♥️♥️🙏♥️♥️♥️

Hi Ellie, I honestly don’t understand why some people feel the need to tear down someone, just because they can🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️I have often found that the people who appear to think overly highly of themselves and look down on and nitpick at others, (often very loudly), are usually someone who, (unconsciously or consciously), knows they’re the one who is sub par and needs to bring someone else down to their low level to make themselves feel better🙄🙄I try to stick by the saying my mum used to tell me as a child: if u don’t have anything nice to say, just don’t say anything. It also doesn’t cost u anything to be nice🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️anyhoo, that’s my rant for the day😆😆for what it’s worth, I adore u and think ur fabulous! I look forward to seeing ur happy, smiling face everyday, along with u sharing ur amazing talents with us. As always, much love sent to u, Lolo and Smudge💜💜💜👱🏻‍♀️🐕🐈‍⬛
  • Thank you Ellie for being your authentic self. You are an inspiration for those of us who were forced to be 'perfectionist' or the people around us would be cruel under the guise of 'helping'. Middle age (and a great therapist) has taught me it's okay to be my authentic self and leave my house 'imperfectly' perfect. Your readings are fantastic. Thank you!
  • @CherCher711
I can't imagine commenting on your appearance or if you mispronounce a word. I watch because you are an excellent tarot reader who adores animals, and leans to the left. Oh and has a sense of humor! much love, Ellie...
  • @kellymccall3491
This was completely unexpected! THANK YOU FOR COVERING THESE SUBJECTS. Womens health is seriously lacking in regards to aging. Every year, realizing how incredibly complex the female body is.
  • Don’t be so hard on yourself Ellie, you’ve come a long way from where you started on posting and getting used to the platform. Love your readings despite an occasional error.❤❤❤
  • @cjllewelyn
I’d love to hear more on the middle aged conversation. We were talking the other day about how men tend to get angry and stay there as they age. They too seem to struggle with what their role is as they age
  • In economics, men have difficulty getting a good paying job after 50. This can cause financial fragility. For women the age is 35, no matter what your employment history is. My brother helped my father, for years. When Dad started having more problems and needed more looking after, I was in a position to take over. I figured, my brother needed a chance to live his life, and it was my turn. I was 48, moving meant getting a new job. My options were very limited.
