Great example of how a video should be done. No ha has, cutesy cartoons, or annoying music. Just straight forward useful information.
  • Just got my Freud 99-240 this week and this video really helps me understand how to use it to make drawers. Thanks!

Pushing the bit back to produce a cut that hides the drawer slides is pure genius!!! I just built a bunch of pull-outs for my kitchen. Wish I had watched this video before I made them. I would have definitely preferred the hidden slide look!

I've watched a lot of videos on these drawer lock bits. Yours is the only one that I felt was worth actually taking notes on. Very clear, with everything I needed and nothing I didn't. Thanks!!!

I'm so glad you shared this. I had no idea this was an option, and I can't wait to start knocking out boxes for upcoming projects. Thanks man!

I have made a lot of drawers using that bit and it’s always worked great! As you said set up blocks are a must! Thanks for sharing John!
  • This is indeed THE best way to make drawer boxes. I’ve been doing it for years this way: all you need is glue. Using the small version of this router bit makes it possible to use even thinner boards (I use 9.5 mm. boards). The resulting boxes are just as strong as their thicker counterparts, especially if you use this method for the bottom as well: you can then make the bottom flush with the lower edges of the sides, adding some millimeters to you storage space. Thanks for the video!
