  • I wish someone would mention the real story of the game. Before the Fever/Aces game today, Caitlin met with 14-year-old cancer survivor Bailey Lux. Bailey had also lost her mother to cancer. Bailey and Caitlin met while she was at University of Iowa children’s hospital. They met in 2022 when Lux was receiving treatments for MPNST. Clark and Kate Martin regularly visited the hospital and met Lux there. Clark spending time playing Mario Kart with her. The Make-a-Wish foundation sponsored Lux and her family to the game as her wish was to see Caitlin play in person. Bailey received an autographed jersey from the Aces and an autographed ball from the Fever. Clark said before the game, “This is what she spent her wish on. How cool is that.” Clark not only did volunteer work at the children’s hospital but at the local food bank, donating NIL money to keep it operating. When Clark was notified of getting AP player of the year, it was at the Children’s Hospital. Why, because she’s there visiting sick kids. It’s not just because of her great play that people like Clark. It’s because of the unbelievably kind person that she is.

Congratulations to Caitlin, Aliyah, and Kelsey for being All-Stars!
  • They kept it close for 3 quarters. Glad they aren’t beating themselves up too much over this loss. Fever’s future is bright.
  • @TakeMe2Colo
Congrats to Mitchell, Clark, and Boston! All Stars!!!

Boston, "it doesn't matter how we feel, this is our job and we have to work." Commitment. The Fever played tough against a monster opponent, the reigning champs. Go Fever!

Always great to watch the other team go on a run in a close game and have Sides sit there and watch the whole thing until it's out of hand. You know what timeouts are for, right? Up 16, Becky Hammon watches one bad defensive possession and calls timeout. Imagine what this team might be able to do with a competent coach.
  • @windi6
Agree with the Samuelson switch for Wallace for sure.
  • @scottjoy2094
Alot of missed shots in the paint hurt the fever tonight.
  • CC after a MAY game: We just can't seem to stop the bleeding. Because the coaching staff doesn't understand MOMENTUM. They wait until the run is 12-0 15-0 before calling TO. Every game. It's almost comical.
  • Caitlin is having trouble with her shooting right now. Very unusual for her. She also complained of a migraines. She also had a ruptured eardrum that can cause vertigo and balance problems that can seem very similar to migraines. Positional vertigo can be set off by movement, both physical and visual. it can be set off by sounds coming from different directions. It is something that doesn't respond well to trying to push through it. Often, laying down to rest or having the head in a particular position might make it worse. Hopefully, trainers and doctors are considering that as a possibility so if it is a cause of the problem, it can be healed properly to ensure that there are no chronic issues going forward.
  • The best thing about the entire game was listening to these three lovely ladies 💙💛
  • @Vibezz215
I will forever be grateful for my AB,CCs they are carrying this team on their back
  • @wishbone1490
Missing easy bunny shots and not making free throws will deflate anyone. Being out-rebounded and players missing open shots who should not be in the league is crazy.

Didn’t expect them to win, not upset they actually did well, Smith should have rode the bench and Temi should have started, a lot of times I feel like it’s line up issues, even with Smith in they did okay but with Temi starting it would’ve been possible, I liked Samuelson in the line up, her size and put back were great
  • @chevyyyyyyy
Sides’ bad coaching allowed the team to get trounced and get depressed. I think, actually, that Sides gives Clark mixed commands: One time pass the ball, another time shoot more then, at other times, shoot long 2s. Come on Sides! That’s called crazy making. Of course CC may be confused and trying her damnest to figure out how to comply, frustrated. Sides, consult a speech or a throat specialist.
  • Kate Martin would have been perfect at the 3 spot if the Fever were smart enough to draft her.
  • What happened Christie? Why did Caitlin only have 12 attempts? You lied to us. How many plays was for Caitlin? Where was Lexie Hull?
  • Clark should be taking 30+ shots & there was MULTIPLE x’s she was open yet continues to hesitate. Sides is making her a shell of who she used to be! Sad, just sad. I never said this before but Sides is just awful!
  • Caitlin is AMAZING as are AB and KM! Coach Sides is threatened by Caitlin's talent and cannot ever bring herself to say Caitlin's name followed by a compliment at all! During the practice that was the day after Caitlin won the Honda award for the second consecutive year, the Coach was asked what she said to Caitlin about this huge accomplishment. Coach said she hadn't even said anything about it to Caitlin yet! How do you not even acknowledge such a UNIQUE accomplishment immediately upon seeing your star rookie?! Caitlin is the GOAT in the making AND she is a player coach and this coach doesn't know how to handle her! Coach needs a coach!
