Okay I shat this out in like a day because I read the IZ comics and cried over Zib in the ZimVoid arc and needed to make something with him. And this song seemed to fit imo!

I took a bunch of creative liberties with canon here, but the biggest difference is that I made Dib come back in the end because goddAMMIT ZIB DESERVES A HAPPY ENDING AND I WILL NOT CHANGE MY MIND ON THAT

This gets HELLA messy towards the end bc its midnight and i wanted to finish this in one fell swoop but overall I'm pretty happy with it!

I adore the detail put into the ghost on Dib's shirt It started off expressionless as Dib, but for Zib it corrupted and became a reflection of Zib with a sharp, toothy smile outline, and the eyes match. Perfect contrast at around 1:06, where it's easier to see who you're looking at.

Fun fact? Did self loathes sometimes, and Zim hates him, and Dib hates Zim.. So roach boy must really hate himself A LOT.

i have never read any of the comics but this animation actually filled in some of the questions i had so i thank you for doing so. other than that, your drawings are phenomenal. actually made me sad! keep up the amazing work! i see big things for you! ;)

ok this really conveys sadness
