The first day was spent tracking north on Highway One with just one rest stop at Gaviota before our overnight stay at Morro Bay.
On day two we travelled further north taking in the Elephant Seal colony at San Simeon and then stayed overnight in Carmel where we also drove around 17 Mile Drive at Pebble Beach during the evening "golden hour".
The following morning we drove to San Francisco via Monterey and Apple HQ in Cupertino. We really enjoyed San Francisco and plan to visit again. Alcatraz is also a must - get tickets in advance.

If you ever come back, there are wind caves near the Gaviota rest stop. It's a steep day hike you can do in like, 1-2 hours and be back at the car. However, it has little to no shade, so I wouldn't do it if it's already like 70-80 near the road. Also thank you for putting in timestamps and chapter cuts to jump around if needed, very thoughtful editing!
