Chris Kreider scored a natural hat trick in the third period, and the New York Rangers rallied from two goals down to eliminate the Carolina Hurricanes with a 5-3 win in Game 6 of the Eastern Conference Second Round at PNC Arena on Thursday.
New York advanced to the conference final, where it will face either the Boston Bruins or Florida Panthers. The Panthers lead that best-of-7 series 3-2 entering Game 6 at Boston on Friday.

Canes fan here. Ggs, as much as it hurts to say, the clear better team won. I really want to hate the Rangers but Kreider gained a ton of respect after giving that stick away postgame. Go destroy the Panthers/Bruins and get your Cup

Everyone is talking about kreider but Igor made so many game saving saves when they were down. Igor kept them in the game to give kreider the chance to start with. Regardless it was an insane game. Though rangers were done in the series at the start of third. Igor kept them in it then kreider willed his way in the end.
