  • This is actually Ronnie's house and that's his girlfriend. He's actually the one playing the piano. He's clean and sober now. Derrick Jones was part of the band. Also, if you didn't notice, they covered all of his tattoos for this. Also Also, hope you are doing well. Recovery is tough as hell but it's the right path and it takes alot of courage.

This video actually won some awards, rightly so. The suggestion below for other FIR songs are great, but from a production standpoint, Popular Monster has done great camera work, Zombified has some great CGI and makeup, and Voices in My Head has lots of great stunt work. Ronnie is the genius behind FIR. He does everything, from lyrics, beats, and instrumentation, to conceptual ideas for the videos. He collaborates, of course, but he is the mind behind it all. Since the band's formation, band members have come and gone, but the music maintains the same vision. I hope you continue down the FIR rabbit hole. You create great content!

People often forget how angelic of a voice Ronnie has, this man continues to melt my heart when I hear his clean vocals on this. And as a fellow recovery addict, I wish you nothing but the best and a healthy recovery.
  • This song is so good and his gf who is in this admitted she use to be suicidal before she meet Ronnie and doing that scene was hard at first but after doing it helped her fight her depression. I recently saw him live and after every song he says thank you with such genuine sincerity that shows how passionate he is with his music and to his fans for getting him where he is today.

Yes! My favorite remastered song of theirs to date! I love the story we are given throughout the visual takes and audible tracks. The fact we open up with, in all the sense of the phrase, a ghost walking through her memories. We see how she admired him but didn't want to approach. How she hid away from what was happening, turning a blind eye to the death circling around her. Until, finally, she had enough. She left him, thinking it was the best, but her heart could not, so she comes back just in time to witness him at his lowest. Fueled by the loss of her, of the added on pressure of the townsfolk starting to notice, and his own need to kill to survive. "Where is my self-control?" The emotions are high here - and our ghost, once living, decides that she can't leave him but also can't live with him. Not as she is. Either she will die by a blade or be born again by love. Despite that, despite knowing he shouldn't, he gives her a second chance, a new life — the opportunity to be equals with him. To share this dark fate. Except... as fate often does, it found an ending. The townsfolk dragged him away. This monster, the killer of men, and forced him into the light. Figuratively and metaphorically. Or was it on purpose - was the evil seeking redemption for what he has done? And as he burned away to ash she too stood against the rising sun. With no fear nor regrets she accepted fate once more. For she could not live with him or without him.

Ronnie is so talented he has haters. That clearly means he is doing the right thing. This is a beautiful take of the first version and shows so much more imagination and maturity. As far as I am aware there only two tracks he has 're-invented- - this and The Drug in Me is You. Goosebumps in both. I think I commented on your post to As the World Burns that it would be great to see your reactions to a few other songs - I love the music and the creativity of the clips, which some have commented they felt like they had watched a movie. Like your reactions and havesubscribed to check out what else you do. Thanks for this video.

I really enjoy that you didn't pause the video every 10 seconds. You let it play and just appreciated the video. Well done.
  • @itscory1950
Thank you so much for covering FIR so much, love the analysis!! Keep it up!
  • @quinncampbell9255
i lovr Ronnie. ecape the fate and falling in reverse is amaizng just because he sang and wrote for them.
  • If you really want to see their change and how amazing they are they comparison between the drug in me is you original and the remastered version is insane. I’ve loved this band for years and I’m so happy with what they’re doing now. It’s beautiful.
  • @AusAnon91
I can't help but giggle every intro where you say "content you may have seen in places like these" Troy McClure from Simpsons pops into my head "you may remember me from such". Idk if that's intended but it makes me happy every time I hear it.
  • I was there for the birth of MTV & music videos were a huge part of my childhood and teenage life but then it stopped, which is why I find it refreshing that bands are once again embracing the visual artistry that comes with their music. This video in particular left no stone unturned and paid close attention to smallest of details. Absolutely fantastic

Derek jones was the lead guitarist in falling in reverse. He passed away a few years back.

I watch this so many times a day as I watch so many reaction videos at work each night 😂 love it. Also just wanted to say congratulations on the sobriety! I am also a recovering addict. 20.5 years clean from heroin 🖤
  • just found your channel when you reacted to Watch the World burn, then I was thinking like "well, you definitely should check out revamped" and then you uploaded this reaction, thank you it's not just a video, it's a masterpiece itself
  • @jamsmedia9641
I'm not here to suggest another FIR song. I'm here because you clearly know the path to go down for amazing production, instrumentation, vocals and more. I'm glad to have a video reaction channel that reacts to both the artist/band AND the production behind it. Recovery is a pain but it's also a blessing and music and video production are outlets for us no doubt. Alright we need more uploads!!
  • @sebastiank.3894
This is probably the most epic song I have ever heard and the most epic music video I have seen. Experiencing it through your eyes really gives it some new perspectives. I also highly value your honest reactions and the fact that you are speaking out about mental health problems and addiction from your own unfortunate experience. Thank you.
  • First time that ive ever watched a reaction from a guy who focuses mainly on the video production! bravo sir, i really enjoyed your take on the film making!! congrats on being clean from alcohol too! i salute you!
  • I love this version of the song and would love a full album of this style. For suggestions, a lot of Ice Nine Kills music videos tell a connected story and are horror based.
