I expected to see the alien's tail piercing your characters body at any time. Tense as the Alien film.

I'm kinda sad that my brain is desensitized to this game. After a while, you just see a puzzle and some rules. Stuff like "the alien cannot appear here" and "the alien cannot enter this area" and "the alien cannot traverse this area" burn themselves into your mind.

I KNEW IT There are like two vents with height differences in this game and they actually didn't implement a state where the Xeno would change between two different elevations. Out. Fkin. Skilled. (Mods plz no)

The reason why he checked the vents to begin with was that you hold the flashlight right into the direction of the opening. and the reason why he came arround for the second time is, because he still knew you were in there and the pathfinding send him a loop arround.

This game is phenomenal, no doubt. Atmosphere, sound, design, everything. The only thing I just cannot get over, though, is how the tail of the Xeno is always so flaccid

Nightmare mode is something else, it feels like the aliens presence is that of five aliens, constantly around

Vents are meant to be a safe haven in games. They broke the rules. They made killers in vents scary almost a decade before the game about bean astronauts
