    I run/ hike a granite mountain 3-4 times a week. My altra trail runners do a great job. Just received this sandal yesterday, as a birthday gift. I'm hooked. My feet love them. I'll need a pedicure to wear them on errands. Not too attractive in flat black. On me.

    You can just cut the thong part off if you find it uncomfortable. I did that the second I got them and they feel incredible.
