There has been a lot of questions regarding the Sanqui randomizer tool. I have made an unlisted video explaining it. If there is anything I haven't covered or you have additional questions on, feel free to comment on the video asking!    • The Sanqui Randomizer Tool. How does ...

Before you ask. If you want to know how I managed to get Crawdaunt in Generation 1, Google "Sanqui".

Some common questions you might have.

Q: Are move sets updated?
A: Yes. Believe it updates to X and Y. Although not all moves from Gen 1 to Gen 6 are in the game I believe.

Q: How do you know what moves you can and can't learn?
A: I don't. Trial and error, and lots of resetting.

Q: Why did the rival start with Bulbasaur, wouldn't Squirtle be the toughest match up?
A: Unfortunately, the randomizer is like the name says, random. I cannot choose which starter replaces which ball. See the unlisted video for more details.

RULES:
1. I can only use Starter in battle. Other Pokémon can be obtained for HMs ONLY.
2. No items in battle.
3. No glitches or exploits (badge boost is the exception due to the faulty programming of Red/ Blue).
4. No Double Team TM until level 100. Pokemon that learn the move naturally get an exception (new as of 6/18/23).
5. No saving between Elite 4 members.

What is the Badge Boost Glitch?
When you collect odd numbered badges the game boosts a stat by 12.5%. Brock gives attack, Surge gives defense, Koga gives speed, and Blaine gives special. When any of your stats are modified, even if your opponent uses a move to modify your stats like Growl, the badge boosts are re-applied. So If you use Swords Dance, you also gain an additional 12.5% in Speed/Defense/Special (on top of the 12.5% you were supposed to be getting). When you level up, the game corrects this error and recalculates your stats, and only the non-glitch 12.5% remains.

  • Its nice to hear others have experienced what i'm going through right now. I was made redundant back in November and even though i'm getting to the final stage of loads of interviews, I keep getting passed up for internal candidates... thankfully I have found some part time work to keep bills ticking along. But it's exhausting...
  • That was a fun (and close) vs race! Congrats on your wedding 🎉
  • First time on the channel, I do want to say that you're not alone in that job searching stuff, there's a ton of software developers I know right now going through the same thing, me included. There's layoffs due to AI, outsourcing to different countries, and tons of other things going on that has led to what was supposed to be a guaranteed degree giving nothing right now. So maybe it's not great for you knowing that others out there are having the same issue, just know that your low point in life is a shared experience with a lot of people. I find that always helps me when I'm in a low point knowing that I'm not the only one that's ever gone through something like that, so I guess hearing that story from you reminds me that there always is that light at the end of the tunnel. Can't wait to watch the rest of the video!
  • Congratulations on your wedding!🎉🎉 I guess that the best birthday gifts you can get😊. I like Gallade more than Gradevoir ever since I played pokemon prism , because Gallade is so cool in that game.😊 A quick set up move like swords dance alongside the badge boosts you'd get from that is a game changer. But Gradi with amnesia can easily be on Mewtwo's pace for sure, because gen 1 perfers special attackers than physical ones for the most part. I believe that both could do minimum battles with a bit of luck.🤔 I really liked the format of that video. It's great to have split data on screen, even though it can be a pain to render while keeping the visual part intact 😂😂😂. I'm glad that you'll get into a better job soon, because unemployment suck. And besides that the bills are piling up, while you try your best to find something. But some of thier requirements are really out of touch .Job hunting is a job in a way, right? 😅

I'm gonna have to talk to you about what game this is. Playing back to gen one with new pokemom is so awesome.
  • Alright I’m 4 mins in. I’m gonna go #TeamGallade - he gets the most benefit from the combined Special stat, I think.

If i have to guess which one will do better, I have to ask myself; what effects do their typing have? As they're both psychic types they can each easily one shot every enemy in the game that isn't psychic type. Assuming that you kept the higher of their Special Attack or Defense for their Special Stat in gen 1, Galade should have a higher stat spread overall. Even so, Psychic Fighting is weak to Flying, and Psychic Fairy is weak to Poison. Of the two, Flying is a bigger problem. Obviously Psychic beats Poison, but even if it didn't the strongest Poison-Type move is Sludge in Gen 1. And there's not really much in the way of prominent Poison-Type trainers except Koga (sweep) & Agatha (Sweep) So I'd have to give it to Gardevoir

Hate to say it, but the silhouettes are really distracting since one is regular Gardevoir but the other is Mega Gallade.
