People!! Do not follow these recipes!! First: raw cinnamon should NOT go on your skin. It can be EXTREMELY irritating. Second: putting something acidic — like fresh squeezed juice from an orange — actually has the potential to cause burns & long-term hyperpigmentation, especially for those with darker complexions. Third: putting turmeric on your face will stain your skin bright yellow for days. This is a common tradition at Indian weddings — look up the tradition to see how a turmeric face mask will appear on your complexion. Please, please, please: do NOT follow diy mask recipes without doing your research!! Some recipes online are fun and safe. But many are dangerous. Anyone can make content on online platforms. The same does not apply to drugstores and high-end brands. We live in a day & age where dermatologist-tested skincare is widely available and affordable. Brands like Cetaphil, CeraVe, La Roche Posay, Eucerin, and many others are far superior to these diy products as they’re research backed for maximum safety and product efficacy. Instead of spending your money on ingredients for these masks, spend your money on quality skincare.
