Ted's Race Notebook - Imola Grand Prix 2024
Ted Kravitz is live following the 2024 Emilia Romagna Grand Prix, as he shares his thoughts on the race while gathering reaction from the paddock.
In the Ted's Race Notebook - Imola Grand Prix 2024, Ted recaps the exciting race results at the Imola circuit in Italy, where Max Verstappen clinched the victory, followed by Lando Norris in second place and Charles Leclerc in third. This marks the second time these drivers finished in the same order, after the Miami Grand Prix. Red Bull's excellent starts and Verstappen's skillful driving were key factors in his win, but he faced a challenge when he pitted and lost grip. Norris, who had been conserving his tires, closed the gap towards the end, finishing just 7 seconds behind. The race also featured strategic decisions by teams like Mercedes and Ferrari, with Lewis Hamilton pitting and allowing George Russell to take sixth place. The focus shifted to the performance of various drivers, with Oscar Piastri finishing second and Lando Norris third. Sebastian Vettel paid tribute to Ayrton Senna and Roland Ratzenberger with an emotional lap in Senna's old McLaren. The series now moves on to Monaco in the coming days.

Look, he is not the PERFECT guy for the job in terms of the actual job. BUT HE IS! Fans love him, drivers love him, team members love him and it is exactly what you need in the balance of the race weekend and show.
