In this video I put together clips from all of my visits to the eruption in Geldingadalir, Iceland. The first clip is from within 24 hours after the eruption started and the last clip is from June. I have visited the eruption site over 10 times and on a regular basis so you will hopefully get an good overview of the evolotion of the eruption.

You can see how much the area has changed in less than three months time. I really hope you enjoy the video. If you do I would appreciate if you like it and subscribe to my channel. In the upcoming weeks I will upload more videos from Iceland!

All of the footage is recorded on my DJI Mavic 2 Pro.

Best drone compilation of the volcano on YT. edited to perfection both visually and musically.

Earth dancing, earth singing, earth speaking, earth changing her dress... Pure beauty. Thank you Hermann

You know, I’m crying. I’m crying because I’m not able to see this beauty by my own eyes. I live too far from Iceland and can’t afford the trip. But my biggest dream is to see the volcano one day. Thank you!❤️ At least, I can watch my biggest dream on my computer screen🥲

Thank you so much for sharing your amazing footage - and with such an excellent music score too! I also rather miss 'Bob' along with Flo, Hel, Sif, Ulf and Rag, and it's incredible to see the enormous size of little 'Nar' now! Thank you again for these wonderful views; so special for those of us who haven't been able to visit in person - your film captures the majesty of this spectacle so well that it's the next best thing to being there! Best wishes from Shropshire, UK.

Its amazing to think that billions of years ago our entire planet looked just like this.
  • Beautiful mix of visuals and music. You make the volcano's evolution both organic and arresting. Thank you for the effort.

Congratulations! This is an excellent video. Thank you very much.
  • Wonderful capturing of the Earth re-generating its skin. Elsewhere on the planet the skin, the crust, is diving back down into the mantle to melt into magma again. The constant cycle, the pulse, one of so many pulses, so many rhythms; of days and seasons and tides and the tiny waves on a small lake in the woods that nobody sees, the wiggling of the strings in the nucleus of every single atom. The power, the energy released in this single volcanic event must be in the terawatt/hour range. It should remind us all who is in charge. Fabulous video.
  • What a absolutely fabulous work of art. The drone control, the footage and of course the volcano, I can’t find any other words to describe this everyone has already said it.

This film is a work of art, Hermann. Thank you so much. Interesting to see the charm and beauty of “Bob” and compare it to the giant dark monster the fissure has turned into.
