I know it’s been awhile, and I am still impressed by how the creator turned a 4th wall breaking demon to an actual Sonic villain with a proper story.

I like the idea of EX being an in-universe demon rather than a demon from our world just possessing a game cartridge, like “I’m a godlike entity that can cause torment on a planetary scale, might as well use this power to haunt a random SEGA game and mess with a kid in his early teens”

Man, this game went a long way. Back then when it was just, “Choose Tails, you die. Choose Knuckles, you die. Choose Robotnik, JUMPSCARE!”

Dispite what it looks like in this video, this game is REALLY hard. It takes a lot of skill and memorization. I failed almost every path at least 2 times, not to mention getting the hang of the first tails, knuckles and eggman parts. 1 mistake and boom, back to the start

The Kefka Laugh, and the ending theme being a version of "Searching for friends" AKA final world map theme from FF6. That's a nice little reference to the whole kefka thing and what game it's from

As far as fan games go, this one is okay. It's not trying to be overly spooky, no random jumpscares and the gameplay is pretty solid.
