Could there be a more perfect ending to this DLC, showing how perfectly this series can be at its best with a thrilling story in its own right but the characters are only a part of a bigger puzzle that they will never see completed as their adventure wasn’t important for others, merely the part they would never understand?

The numbers shown at the end are a modern way of relaying coordinates. Through the coordinates, we can pinpoint a location irl that is located somewhere in America, a place not yet discovered in Ezio's time. The location is assumed to be the in game location for the ISU vault that Desmond uses at the end of ACIII, which leads to his death, but in turn, saves the world from the next imminent solar burst. Hence, Ezio simply tells Leonardo that what they see is not intended for them and is implied to us that they are meant for Desmond and his accomplices, much like the Prior ISU messages.

I loved the final. Ezio knew these numbers are not for him but Desmond. And he talked about only his Assassin friends what he saw in the vault. He kept trying to break Leonardo's attention and taking him out of there. And these numbers are the coordinates of The Grand Temple. Which Ezio heard about in Revelations and Desmond found in ACIII. Great storytelling! I love the connections between Altair, Ezio, Connor and Desmond. 5 Big games and stories for serving a one Great story about saving the world. As for me, Assassin's Creed died when Desmond died
