I love my Capricorn moon, not much hurts me and if things do, I cry in my own solitude then quickly move forward, I have a hard time expressing my deepest emotions to anyone, causing me to feel lonely in return, I have noticed any processing of emotions needs to be done on my own, I hate crying in front of others and I prefer not to be consoled, I process my emotions on my own time then move on

infj, capricorn in moon here. honestly, i do tell people how i feel. they just don't take it seriously or show the same attention and care i'd show them anytime of the day. then yeah, i bottle up and explode at once. but i'm getting better at that. 1. i say what i need 2. i don't care for other people anymore as much unless i get the same amount of attention

The only downfall of my Capricorn moon that I have experienced is my responsibilities haunt me, I have a never ending list in my head of what needs to get done, sometimes making it hard to relax and have fun, even if something is a month away, I worry about getting it done. A coping mechanism for my strong emotions is to clean or to check things off my list. Being responsible and getting things done helps me feel better when I have no idea what emotions are storming within

Capricorn moon and cancer sun here. This moon makes me very uncomfortable around strangers especially if there is potential I can be humiliated. Also I can easily shut off feelings for others if necessary or if I feel disrespected. I also like to get down to business or to the point quickly I hate small talk and bullshit I just want results that are tangible I feel like I’m wasting life with non serious people who think life is all fun and jokes. I need seriousness. Also great point about holding on to things that don’t serve I hold grudges forever I didn’t go to an aunts funeral because of something she said. Being a Gemini Sun as a teenager I believed that I could just talk myself into or out of feeling something - in result I would end up bottling things up. Now as an adult I know that the best way to handle my Capricorn moon is to allow myself to just feel whatever it is that I'm feeling - be it a grudge or fear or anger over something that happened in the past. It's made a lot of difference in my life.

Funny you mention Saturn as controlling emotions, I thought “that’s not me”, until I realize people never know what my true emotions are because I always choose to conceal them, not allowing others to see them in action. Good point.

MORE ADVICE: - If you find that you're always in the "caretaking" roll, look up codependency. Trust me. - Is it that you're "just afraid of being vulnerable," or is it that at a very young age you developed the belief that your "purpose" (or what you're good at, or whatever), is to offer emotional support to others, and now subconsciously you feel that's your job and if you try to open up to someone else, it means you're failing? Not everybody's gonna relate, but I know some of y'all will.
