The effort put into artificially aging the kart is magnificent. 😉
  • Would have loved to see that beautiful old 2 stroke engine restored as well
  • fantastic video Everybody wants to be financially independent and live a better life. With savvy investing, an inexpensive lifestyle, and diligent budgeting, this is not difficult to do. I'm glad I realised early on that achieving financial freedom requires hard work.

What a miracle that none of the aluminium parts on this 'abandoned kart' are even pitted. Amazing that they also still have the residue from the price stickers on some of the parts. Good to know you can take a perfectly good kart, cover it in mud and surface rust the video yourself cleaning it and pretend you've restored it and bingo.... few hundred thousand views 😂😂
  • @ldenorio
its amazing how the dirt and grime is spread perfectly evenly across go kart
  • @user-nd9lj5ux6l
Loved how shiny new clean the throttle body was at 4:29....not a bit of carbon on there! Wow.

The only bad thing is you replaced that racing engine with a garden roto-tiller engine that is much slower. You should install a clutch on the engine to make user friendly.

I was completely and thoroughly engaged in this restoration until 31:49. Then you lost me. Can't believe you would replace that beautiful old 2 stroke powerplant with a rototiller engine. This go kart deserves better.

As a driver myself I really appreciate this being done 😩
  • You have to have the patience of Job to carry out a restoration like this. You are crazy!!
  • @gcm747
Wow! That go kart so well protected when ‘abandoned’ that even the fabric on the seat was totally fine and there were no flats spots or cracks in those perfectly preserved tyres!
  • @davehorlacher
How far in advanced did you spray on the salt and mud, just to clean it off.
  • @bobbykeyz1263
I just l Iove how these guys can take something that's perfect and make it perfect again. Probably took them longer to make it look like crap.
  • @MegaKencam
I rebuilt an old race kart last year. It was a fun project. Mine is a good 20-30 years older than this one. Yours looks like you covered a good kart in mud and just let it sit outside for a few months.
  • man cleaning the frame really shows how much it really wasnt in very bad shape at all
  • This educational video has revamped/recalled or resurrected my memory of when my old neighbor Ronny Anderson used to own one of these back then during the mid-1970s. That's a go-kart.
  • @THEBIGCHULETA
So much for an engine montage. Looks like it would be fun to ride.
  • congratulations on making us believe at first that this is a real restoration video.and after reading the comments i was even more sure that you made this go kart dirty on purpose
