Whenever I hear this master piece, all the memories that I had to go through in my childhood and youth come back, but this piece also calms me down because it always gives me hope of not giving up where I am. This song gives our soul peace and strength and allows us to remember the pain of our past.

My mother played piano ever since i was born, i was listening to this song in my room, and then something magical happend, my mother started to play this song on our piano, i cannot describe how much this touched me, there is something magical about this song that makes my heart feel so many things, sadness, love, hate, deseperation, being alone.. masterpiece

I lost my mother to dementia at the end of last year. Piano was her life long passion. I feel I can come back to this beautiful piece again and again to remember and love my mom in her world of music. She is so alive in my imagination as I imagine her gentle fingers dancing across the keys.
