  • Really appreciate the mention of the insane crunch time that went into this game. A very serious issue in the industry that a lot of people love to turn a blind eye towards

The comedic synergy of Tony's deadpan with Eddy's exaggeration compliment one another perfectly. I don't know if it's a brother thing or a comedy writing thing but you guys play it out perfectly. The jokes were just hitting with this one for me.

I went back to my parents house to visit recently. My younger brother asked me to play this game with him and I played as the legs the whole time. We spent half an hour with him as general grievous chasing the legs around trying to kill me but those little legs were just too fast lmao. Was a nice time with my typically indifferent teenage brother and I’m glad I’m not the only one who appreciates the magic of the legs. Also the slug, claud, is fucking horrifying I hate how he waddles at you so fast
  • I fought my brother in lego star wars and we still play it every few months. However, this game's expectations were set way too high by the fans of the original. The Burback boys do a great job in expressing how the game is great when you pair it with fair expectations of a completely different adaptation of a classic. Nice video.

that droid wasn't a day from retirement, he was LITERALLY RETIRING. Rip in piece

nothing but respect for the devs, even with so much crunch put on top of them they still managed to do amazing work. i remember some of them saying they still wanted us to play the game in spite of the crunch, and i’m glad they can still take pride in it.

One of my favorite things to do in the complete saga was starting all out brawls in the cantina. But in this game everyone just runs away :(
  • @TheKittydaw
This video has plenty of Lego, Star, and Wars to go around for everyone. Beautiful work.
  • @anicepop
The best co-op boss fight was when you got to play as both Luke and Darth Vader, but Darth Vader was the boss so he had a boss's health bar and you were able to torment your friend by being overpowered.

the way tony delivered that "im poor" line had me dying.
  • @kolbybenthin
I threw in that exact “We are what they grow beyond” Yoda quote at the end of my high school graduation speech. Mine was also completely out of the blue, but no one ever said anything to me about it. I’m still convinced that everyone just stopped listening halfway through

The only complaint I had about the split screen is that there wasn’t an option to do horizontal split screen. The vertical just did not work for me and my wife, it was too limiting for a game that honestly had a lot of stuff going on in your periphery that we couldn’t see.

Burback has quickly become one of my favorite channels and a great place for fun video essays. I have watched the Wii Sports video probably 5 times at least. nothing else to say, just here to say keep up the great work boys!!!

as someone who has played and has 100% completion on a lot of lego games (tcs, indy, hp, marvel, lotr, etc) it’s a great lego game and clearly the culmination of a lot of hard work from the team. glad you guys gave it a fair review and poked fun at the hardo fans

Tony needs to stop treading on Eddy's toes. Let the man sing, you're just envious he has the pipes of an angel!
  • Oh contrair, there is much to fight about, you just have to be creative, (sometimes) 1. When you start a mission or go to a different area, both players have to agree on this 2. When you're a sith, you can just pick up player 1, or 2 and kill them 3. When you're a jedi and the other player is a Droid, you can throw them anywhere you want
  • @inky2412
Your points in the video definitely convinced me to pick up this game, the original was such a big part of my childhood. Watching this already made my day

I really like that you guys took into consideration things like work place culture when reviewing this game. It's quite often that abusive amounts of labor are normalized when it comes to companies who make video games. You'd hope that a shift in work culture among video game companies would come from the companies themselves. But I think the reality is that these things won't change unless it matters to the consumer. So I appreciate you guys doing your part by acknowledging that in your overall review of the game.
