Many wrestlers came and gone from AEW in the 5 years they’ve been around but most AEW departures come from contract expiry and it’s very rare that a wrestler is released from their contract early and even rarer in AEW is when they’re released from their contracts by their request. There are a select few wrestlers who CHOSE to leave AEW and today we’re gonna discuss a few of those cases and why they left AEW.

    It’s crazy that Santana and Ortiz never won the AEW Tag Team Championship. They were one the best teams on the roster

    Honestly, Allie revealing that she only hung out with QT so that she could drain his bank account was pretty fun way to wrap up that storyline in quick fashion.

    Tony keeps biting off more than he can chew and signs way more talent than he has tv time for. At least most of them could wrestle on Dark, but once that was gone, that just left Ring of Honor and he fills that show with main roster AEW people too.

    Not a single thing was literally lost by those releases. Kaz never hid the fact that he preferred the TNA system so it was expected. Anyone who kept up with Andrade knew he'd go with his wife so that wasn't a shock.

    That’s not what Santana said about why he left he said he felt burnt out and needed a break he just said that to Chris Van Vleet that last bit at the end is a lie. Always fishing for controversy plus you left out that santana wanted to go solo and Ortiz wanted to stay a tag team and that’s why they split not because of booking

    Allie left because she has an issue with Imposter Syndrome. There are some interviews after her injury where she talks about it.

    I feel like TK punished Allie, for not being able to make Brandi look good. But TK wasting TNA stars, isn't new. Santana & Ortiz are another example. Idk if I buy, Santana & Ortiz were really scheduled to win the tag titles. Omega & Page seem like a long term plan.
