I think Stelena was definitely a good ship while she was human but after she became a vampire, Stefan treated her like she was broken and needed to be fixed and Damon made her feel most alive so that’s why I ship both.

Many hardcore Stelena fans claim that Elena only loved Damon because of the sire bond and most hardcore Delena fans claim that Elena only loved Stefan because of the Doppleganger universe curse thing while the way I see it she loved them both at different times for different reasons sometimes was in love with both simultaneously and not just because of the sire bond and doppleganger curse

Normalize loving both ships!!! ❤️ Stelena is pure, safe, and innocent. Delena is adventure, hot, and exciting. I dont blame elena having a hard time choosing between the two of them 😭

Stefan was always the better man. He proved his loyalty to both of them when he left town with Klaus. He did it to save them both; Damon wouldn't die and Klaus wouldn't know that Elena was alive. In the end, Damon and Elena almost deserved eachother and Stefan ended up deserving better. He got better in Caroline and I hate that he had to die for Damon and Elena to be happy but alas, Stefan will always choose Damon and Damon will always choose Elena. That's the way it's always been.

The writers moved the relationships to quickly Elena ended up in an intimate relationship with both brothers. A person of Elena's moral consciousness would not have had an intimate relationship with brothers. The writers should have developed the relationships until she made her final choice before introducing the deep physical (intimate) part of the couple's relationship. The love triangle would have still been presence. I must state although the relationship between Stefan and Damon was a great part of the series, I think the writers missed it when they separated Stefan and Elena. Stefan and Elena have couple chemistry every time they are on the set together. Leaving them together through out the series would have taken some creative muscle, but it would have been EPIC.

I loved her with both brothers for different reasons. Stefan love was just so pure , the type of person you’d see yourself getting married to while Damon love was more realistic. He made more mistakes but it was out of the love he had for Elena. I’m more of a delena fan but loved them both.
