again i really appreciate this guy for talking about the moves and putting the frame data on screen, a lot of people don't do this and I don't know why....

First of all, great guide! Now, I wanna point out a few things. She has another command grab in uf 1+2. Her ws 1+2 has a ton of pushback and it's -3 on block, so sidestepping or sidewalking to their weak side will give you a free whiff if they press. After a heat smash on block, try to sidewalk too. Usually, it can fuck up your opponent timing, giving a much more consistent mix-up as they don't usually expect you to delay your timing, most of the time people tend to either crouch or stand still right away. As a final tip, after any launcher followed by ff 2,3 db 1,4 you can sidestep left after the tornado in p1 for a more consistent ff4 ff 2,3. I hope this will help any asuka enjoyer, peace!

Covered all the basics and highlighted the strengths of the character. One small correction is that the break for d/f 2+3 is actually a 2 break.

Hey Coach, thank you for the guide. I am stuck right now playing as Asuka and I already found some stuff that I can intergrate nicely in my own playstyle. Thank you. Keep it up.
-
For a person who just started playing tekken this helps a lot. Thank you. So much to learn 😑
-
Thx a lot for this vid. Asuka has been my fav girl since T5;Recently, i bought T8 and i am willing to master her. You earned a disciple, coach

15 mins of nonstop great info. Thanks a lot.

Hey man! i bought Tekken 8 yesterday after leaving MK ,( tired of that repetitive 2d franchise with no sprint). Im the typical player who looks for the standar kickboxer like Johny Cage, Bryan Fury in tekken , Sagat in Street Fighter, Zack in DoA... You get me. For some reason, i picked her because I recognize her from Tekken 5 , cause i had that game back then in ps2 , so seeing her again just made me curious to see how she was doing. The moment if played a bit with her, I knew she was gonna be my 1st entry fro T8, i dont know she reminds me of Jun from Tekken 2, really its like they put all her animations into Asuka, but the new Jun is like Ashra from MK 1. also her f2 is so Mishima, that launcher reminds me of classic Tekken. I know she is B tier, but the fact that she conserves a lot of traditional movements is what makes me wanna stick into her , i find her very traditional and quite classic, i preffer her than Jin honestly

I've been playing Asuka since launch and there's a lot of helpful tips for beginners here. I knew a lot of the info already but it helps to get a refresher too. Also, thank you for time stamps and including the inputs there.

I've went from man of character to kinda figure out who I like and asaka has been on my radar since boxbox makes her look really fun! she very much seems like my kinda character, thank you for the guide :D

Great guide! Just picked up tekken for the first time and been stagnant on the character. I was having difficulty w spacing and which options to use at their appropriate timing. Glad that I was recommended this video!
-
As Asuka main myself, d/b1+2 is a generic Low Sabaki as it can parry most low punches and kicks.
-
Thx. Hard to believe you covered so much about her in only 15mins. No dowtime.
-
Fantastic guide. All you need to just pick her up and play. Really great work!
-
I'm Flame Rider (purple rank) and this helps a lot
-
Great guide. More asuka content please
-
thank u coach kazama, I think an important thing to add would be all the times you can get a guaranteed f2 off a move, like after d1+2
-
Thanks to some things on this guide, i made it to tekken king with asuka!
-
My full turtle Asuka have no place in this game which is sad because i lost one pocket pick. I think you forgot about df4 and db3, they're my fave poke and keep out tools.
